Course Curriculum Overview

5

For me personally I don't think I would have been offered anything better then this at this price,I think even though it's an government college but it actually provides students with quality education and they also have NCC in the college for both boys and girls which allows us to grab on more opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I study in this college/ University to be called Jagannath Baruah University. It is an deemed collage known for it's very unique type of environment which includes a lot of activities and platforms given to students via the college. The fee structure is very reasonable being an government college as it's 6-7k per semester like fluctuating for science arts and commerce stream . As for my department Zoology honours ,is the best department in the entire collage with 100% results from last 10 consecutive years,as the HOD professors are very cooperative and helpful they give us so much work and assignment and notes they even check our handwritten notes which makes us(zoology dept people) ultimate nerd of the college which is fine cause we atleast give the best result for our college

Campus Life

5

The campus life can vary person to person depending on what type of interest do you have,as for me I'm STEM student definitely I'm with my classmates didn't explore more until it's normally the fest and freshmen time.we do enjoy a lot in that particular time and apart from that we are always busy in lab work practical .and thr college has provided us with 8/10 infrastructure for being and government college it's still very good rating ,I love being in this college I have a lot of good memories in here .

Admission

So I applied to many different colleges and universities but some of them were in remote region ,some weren't offering the honours courses of 3yr instead it was integrated etc.so time being I saw addmission for this college which was situated in the heart of the city Jorhat which is pretty close to my place and is very safe to travel and reach its is literally in middle of the hotspot if the town which allows it to accessible to every student. I got the addmission via online application and then after having my name in the merit list I went for the councilling and got the addmission.

Faculty

5

The faculty is literally one of the most qualified that we can have access to , almost every professor in our college holds a PHD degree which 80% of them . And they are all experienced and have great knowledge in there respective field As for professor of my department are very cooperative and disciplined they always take there class attentively and also provide us with notes and references etc.

Interview Experience

4.5

I did face interview round which was mainly the councilling round . The interviews were professors from different departments specifically alloted for interviewing new addmission students. I went for the councilling and they asked me for my documents and asked couple of questions like why did you choose this college , have you have heard of our college and name any famous allumni from this college if you know any, I answered the questions and for allumni I said Zubin Garg as famous Assamese singer who was ex jbian .

Other Applied Colleges

SNEHA DUTTA | Delhi University

Because I didn't get my choice of course in there instead of got addmission in Home science which I didn't wanted to study

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
