Candidates are required to present specific documents at the time of the Viva-Voce, including proof of identity, proof of age, proof of income, and proof of academic qualifications.
Dibrugarh University has released the list of candidates selected to appear for the university’s PhD program Viva Voce round. Candidates who have their names on the list must be available for their Viva-voce on December 27, 2024, at 9:30 AM in their respective department room.

Dibrugarh University Ph.D. Program Viva-Voce Documents Required
At the time of Viva Voice, the Candidate must have the list of documents mentioned below:
- Ph.D. Registration Form
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Details of examinations passed
- Proposed title of the thesis
- Name of the proposed supervisor
- Details of research experience
- Past academic certificates from Class 10
- If employed: Information about the job, such as the organization's name, the type of work, and experience
Dibrugarh University Ph.D. Important Instructions
Before appearing for the Viva-Voce, candidates should read the following critical instructions.
- On the day of the interview, candidates should arrive at Dibrugarh University's Centre for Studies in Geography by 9:45 a.m. The interview will commence at 10:00 a.m.
- On the day of the interview, candidates should bring all supporting documentation in its original form as well as one set of photocopies for verification.
- Candidates must submit their original caste certificate if they applied under the reservation category.
- On the day of the interview, candidates who have not yet turned in the original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appropriate authorities must do so.
Candidates who fail to present an original copy of the above-mentioned documents during the Viva-Voce interview will be denied admission to the University's PhD program.
