In and outs: An Insight to my Institution

Faculty:

1. The number of faculties in our institution are outnumbered by the number of students as there are only 10-20 faculty in every department with a students of ~200 2. I can't directly mention the names but yeah I have some faculties whom I liked because of their behaviour towards others, unbaisness, and the quantity of knowledge provide to the students. 3. If there are likes then there are also dislikes so yeah some of them make student like me very exhausted and create a hatred towards them because of their harsh behaviour over any reason 3. There are total 2 types of exam in our college • in semester • end semester The in semester is the exam held after every 1.5 or 2 months of classes known as first sessional and the other is second sessional before the end semester In semester exams are to assess the students' knowledge, reasoning to check how much they are learn in the class. This exam is often comes with a lesser syllabus comprising 2-4 chapters with a total marks of 20 and sometimes 40. If a student fails in the in semester examination their internal marks from the overall exam won't add to the end semester The second sessional is same with the first one comprising 3-4 chapters with marks comprising 40. The end semester is the final exam through which a student can move to a new semester or session. If a student fails to get pass marks in the end semester still he/she can get to the next semester but he/she will get a backlog which need to be clear before the final semester or won't graduate if fails. Along with exams we have internships, seminar presentations, field works ( geography and geology), lab experiments for science students and PowerPoints. The marks obtain from these will add to the final examination marks and along with that they are important for upscale the skills of the students for future appliance like getting a job etc.

I am a undergraduate student of english department . Jb college offers a variety of undergraduate programs in arts , science, and commerce . Including a four year undergraduate program ( FYUGP ) the college is autonomous

Overall I like all the facilities available in the University

The college education system is very nice. The teachers are very friendly with the students and they teach us very patiently. Also try are strict sometimes that's very good I like it and the examination system is also very good in the University.

Excellent academics and supportive facilities

The faculty are very friendly with the students. They also provide notes to get easy for the understanding. There are two sessinals held in PG courses. Internal marks are 40 and main exam paper are held of 60 marks. In internal there are viva, group discussion, seminar, article review, book review and many more.

My precious years of life

There results were always good because there is sone kind of strictness regarding studies

The students ratio is like 4:5 (girls n boys) I really liked Mr. Kishore goswami because he was very close to students and he never bored the class. And there is no faculty that I dislike they all are good. There were exam in every Saturday. That is not that so difficult to clear.

A Dream - JAGANNATH BAROOAH UNIVERSITY.

The environment, the friendly teachers students communication.
I personally like the guidence er got throughout our graduation days.
The teaching process, the help we got is commendable.

As I mentioned above the guidence we got through the course is commendable. We don't have to suffer at any cost. The teachers are friendly enough. They provide sufficient notes, they taught the topics in a way so that it's understandable for all. The exams are not so easy. We've to study hard to secure good Mark's, yes some of our classmates had backlogs initially but they were able to clear that.

The campus is good clean and good faculties

Dislikes

Lengthy course and less classes the professor completed the syllabus in just 2 months, they say the semester have 6 months but we are giving the finals in 3rd month!

Faculty ratio male have the majority, our department faculty didn't share any good relationship with the students I don't think about others department professor are friendly nature and good , anyways they are teachers and they are brilliant

Teaching style, supportive nature of teachers.

We currently have 9 faculty teacher in the department and 6 that come from other department such as MIL and Computer. We currently have 135 students in 1st sem which is divided into 2 sections. They currently follow the NEP for courses and more details are available in the college website where you can check the outcomes of various courses. There are 2 sessional exams and 1 final exam in every semester. The marking system is same as any other colleges. Overall as mentioned before our department is very nice.

Faculty wad good and teacher and students ratio was good relation between students and teachers There are 3 exams per semester 2 sessionals and 1 final exam Syllabus for my course is verry good and interesting it's about all the dynasty and empire kings rulers etc None of any faculty members I don't like cause everyone is good but sometimes they treat us badly cause of indiscipline of the students which was obvious and we understand that soo the teachers are good Teachers help students and available for any doubts for every time

Life in Jagannath Baruah University.

The faculty is literally one of the most qualified that we can have access to , almost every professor in our college holds a PHD degree which 80% of them . And they are all experienced and have great knowledge in there respective field As for professor of my department are very cooperative and disciplined they always take there class attentively and also provide us with notes and references etc.
