In and outs: An Insight to my Institution

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course I did ( BA hons Eng ) is an affordable course for any student interested in literature especially those who have an aspiration to become prof. , teacher, journalism etc. The overall cost of the course is varied for different categories you can check it on the official website of Jagannath Barooah University portal. I can't directly tell the fees but ~3500-2700 INR But there some relief for St SC and fee waiver scheme appliers There are some scholarships which our institution provide to those students belonged to SC st caste

I will be paying 17490 yearly. The tution fees is almost 5000 rupees . My admission is free because of free waiver scheme. I have to pay a little amount of money for development,lab fees and the other compulsory charges. Some of my friends have reservation and because of that the amount they are paying is less than mine

Excellent academics and supportive facilities

Fees and Financial Aid:

In MA course the fees are to be paid in semester wise (6 months) . In first semester we paid 16000 and in second 90000 around 25000 yearly we have to paid. As this university is yet to become full fledged university so till then we have to pay self funded.

I use to pay between 5200-5600. We don't have any extra fees to pay. Every year before starting a new session we have to pay the money that mention above. In total 3 years course price lies between 16000 to 20000. My benchmates financial condition was not that good so if anybody have income certificate, whose annual income in below 2 lakh then they have to pay only 1k for admission. There are so many scholarship for students but only for those who have annual income below 2 lakh like ishan Uday, and on caste basis like this

A Dream - JAGANNATH BAROOAH UNIVERSITY.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Actually I belong to economically weeker section as our annual income is below 2 lakh per annum. So I've to pay only rupees 900 at the time of admission for year wise admission I've to pay rupees 900 and 650 respectively in the second and 3 rd year. Overall for all the other students it's bare minimum approximately they paid 4500 per year.

I recently enrolled to this Institute which has recently became an University,which is a very wonderful thing. As a newcomer I've alot to see in this University but over the past months my experience with this University is way too better compared to my previous college. Here in my department the teachers take teaching seriously and help students alot. I've always been weak in Accounts and now I am quite average at it. The Fee structure is around 7.5k per sem(approx.) for degree and 5.7k for hs(approx.) But you can also get fee waiver if you are from assam board or if you have studied in any school of Assam. There are reserved seats at the time of admission and you can even apply via CUET examination. I personally applied via CUET and am studying with fee waiver. There are alot of schoolarship schemes availed by the college where you can applied and get it if you meet the requirements. Overall experience is very nice. Functions are great,sports are great, education is great but the infrastructure can be improved. The infrastructure is the only flaw of this University which I believe will be fixed in the upcoming years. I recommend students who actually want to focus on studies to come here. Thank you

I paid 15000 tuition fee every year and registration fee 2000 per semester. College provides fee wavier for bpl students My batchmates also pay 15k per year but some have that fee wavier scheme soo they have to pay 750 rs per year. For fee wavier scheme you should have the income certificate of below 2lacks per year and a photograph with a plant. There is no scholarship except that scheme

Life in Jagannath Baruah University.

I study in this college/ University to be called Jagannath Baruah University. It is an deemed collage known for it's very unique type of environment which includes a lot of activities and platforms given to students via the college. The fee structure is very reasonable being an government college as it's 6-7k per semester like fluctuating for science arts and commerce stream . As for my department Zoology honours ,is the best department in the entire collage with 100% results from last 10 consecutive years,as the HOD professors are very cooperative and helpful they give us so much work and assignment and notes they even check our handwritten notes which makes us(zoology dept people) ultimate nerd of the college which is fine cause we atleast give the best result for our college
