J.B. College boasts a dedicated and skilled faculty known for their innovative and easy-to-understand teaching methods. The college organizes an annual job fair, attracting companies like TCS, Honda, and tea estate firms. While these events offer opportunities, the overall placement rate is average, with only a few students securing jobs through the fairs. TCS is highlighted for employing several students who perform well in their roles. Many alumni get admitted to renowned universities, including Delhi University, JNU, and Gauhati University, for further studies.

The college is financially accessible, charging fees for only three out of the six semesters.
