All about VESIT

Likes

The campus is good and pretty clean too.
There is no ragging and the relations between juniors and seniors is good.
Weekly hackathons and other extracurricular events are conducted.

Dislikes

Since it got autonomous status from academic year 2022, the placements have went down drastically.
The faculty isnt much helpful and adequate study material is not provided by them.
There have been cases where paper checking was done incorrectly on purpose to extort rechecking fees from the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The currciculum is better comparatively as being an autonomous college we have subjects that are actually needed in our job fields, and we are not learning other useless things which are not needed anywhere in near future.

Likes

Their Enterpreneural cell is vivid and seeks more people to bring up with ideas and work towards them
The massive architecture which is outstanding and gives a fabulous look
their way towards learning and making the student move towards success

Dislikes

The placement cell should work towards specified rather than generalised knowledge
The labs of electronics department which are hardly in working condition
Not introducing fields and subjects which are industry relevant

Placement Experience:

My plans aftergetting a degree is to do an mba. i wont be sitting for placements. students become eligible for campus placmets after their 2nd year . The companies which visite here are tcs, jpmorgan, morgan and stanley, capegemini, siemens etc. the average package here is 4lakhs pr annum. percentage of students getting placed is less because of recession.

Likes

The infrastructure here is very good and clean
The faculty are very supportive in every situation
Provides more placement opportunity with a average salary of 13LPA

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are available here from onwards 7th sem the placement process starts and the company's with good opportunity come here with a good package and placement process is very easy and TPO also hepls if any difficulties is been seen by any student

College Review of VESIT

Likes

The college provides a positive environment for the students to learn and flourish.
The college provides good facilities for the students which includes library, amphitheatre, canteen, ground,etc.
The teachers in the college are very cooperative and are always ready to help the students.

Dislikes

The college is a little far away from the nearest station Kurla making it a bit difficult for the students to reach the college.
51% of the seats in the college are reserved for Sindhi minority people.
The food provided in the hostel mess is not much good. However the food provided in the canteen is fabulous.

Placement Experience:

Vesit has a placement cell of its own where various famous companies visit every year and offer placement to hire students. The college has a good placement statistics and the average package offered is 10 LPA. The highest package offered was around 28 LPA.

Big campus and infrastructure The college campus in huge and build is great
Good labs facility for students to perform practical for an branch
Various inter college competitions are there in college every year

Dislikes

No parking inside college available for students
No proper ground is available for the college

Placement Experience:

Once you reach your final year (4th year) The companies will start approaching college for placement after after your exams there will interviews season in your college. The criteria for interviews is that students should have a good pointer throughout all the years.

A first year student experience at VESIT

Likes

The Library is really good has lot's of resources
The Faculty is helps you when ever required
The events are fun and helps us interact with the seniors

Dislikes

The campus is a bit small but this is expected as its inside the city

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is good and salary is decent enough. We have a subject related to that how to present our self. Due to recession the placement is affected but most of the students get an offer. If I don't get a good offer I would go for off campus

the curriculum followed is similar to mumbai university as it is affilated with it but it is much easier than MU .they have only kept the topics which will be useful in the upcoming years and removed unrealted topics

Likes

Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology (VESIT) is generally known for its quality education and good campus infrastructure.
Some students appreciate the dedicated faculty who are supportive and knowledgeable.
The college also offers decent placement opportunities, with many students securing jobs in reputable companies.

Dislikes

Some students may find the workload overwhelming, and there could be occasional issues with administrative processes.
Additionally, while the infrastructure is good, there might be areas that require improvement.
Some time the class room can be hot during the summer session

The course which i am doing is AI&DS WHICH is present and future ok the tech world and i am happy to take over this course,this can change the world and i think this course can take me to great high in my prefacnal corner
