Likes

The college provides good placement opportunities for students through internships programs, careers fairs the university facilitates valuable connections between students and employeers however u should score good marks
Open students, they can apply for an ebc scholarship, and there are scholarships for hostel students as well.
They have great knowledge about the course and guide students properly.

Dislikes

There Placements are very bad. Average package is of just 4 LPA.
Poor marking for exracurricular activities which was recently introduced under project Based Learning(PBL).
the location might be confusing some times

Navigating Life at Pillai College of Engineering

Likes

The faculty so far for the Freshman Year of the college is great in teaching and is very supporrtive in case of you needing any help with academics
Great library providing immense references and articles to read and go through.
Lively and big campus which refreshes your mood after a long tiring day of acaddemic activities.

Dislikes

Poor marking for exracurricular activities which was recently introduced under project Based Learning(PBL).

Placement Experience:

Various companies like Tata Technologies, CtrlS, and Deloitte visited the campus for placements. The placement rate isn't that great. The majority of hiring was done by Tata Technologies and CtrlS with an average package of 4-5LPA.

Review of Pillai College of Engineering: A Year in Review

Likes

The faculty has expertise in the respective subject, making it easy for the students to understand the subjects.
Variety of extracurricular courses and workshops conducted right from the first year.
The faculty is approachable at all times.

Dislikes

Engineering Library: Though it has a lot of great resources, it seemes less equipped and lacks the aesthetic appeal and comfort conducive to prolonged academic engagement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to opt for campus placements from the third year. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Jio, Ugam, and Infosys are available for placements. Around 80% of students get placed with an average package of 3.5-5 lacs. The highest package is around 15 lacs.

Compus is the best places teachers r so supporting peeer grp is very good
Placements are good in the collage. Avg around 4 lakhs
Sporta facilities are veryyyyy good in the collage

Dislikes

Placements are not to high till now in the collage
No such bad thing i experience in the collage
Many thinks r improving the the collage when it become autonomous

From 6 sem students became eligible for sitting in thee placements around 7.5 and above pointer is necessary for elegible for placements Mist if the students are taking higher education like masters and phd

College review for Pillai hoc college

Likes

The sports culture and the tech fest in the college
The college staff are very supportive for students
The fees structure are good in these colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in this course, So I chose it. 60:60 ratio of boys and girls are there in the class. Good teaching facility but need to improve in the method of teaching because the tech world is too advanced.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7 th semester the companies visited are TCS,jio, IBM, the average package is around 4 lakh the highest being around 10 lakhs. 75% of the students get placement. I am planning for a master's after my UG.
