FAMT Ratnagiri Admission Dates 2026

FAMT Ratnagiri BE 2026-27 admissions are proceeding through the DTE Maharashtra CAP process. MHT-CET 2026 was held in April 2026. CAP rounds for seat allotment run from July to September 2026.

FAMT Ratnagiri offers BE across 7 engineering branches with a total intake of 420 seats, along with MCA and PhD programmes. All seven BE branches are priced uniformly at INR 5,12,000 for the 4-year programme.

BE Admission Process

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category from Maharashtra)
• Entrance Exam: MHT-CET or JEE Main score is mandatory for CAP seats. ILQ seats require the same basic eligibility but are filled directly by FAMT.
• Selection stages (CAP seats): Register on the DTE Maharashtra portal, submit CAP application, receive provisional allotment in online rounds, report to FAMT for document verification, pay fees to confirm admission
• ILQ seats (25%): Apply directly to FAMT at admission@famt.ac.in or call 9422743455. Same eligibility norms as CAP seats.
• MHT-CET cutoff at FAMT Ratnagiri is typically more accessible than urban Pune and Mumbai colleges, as the institute is in a non-metro location. Candidates with moderate MHT-CET percentiles in the 60 to 80 range can secure admission in less-competitive branches.

BE Lateral Entry Admission Process

• Eligibility: Diploma in Engineering with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category)
• Admission is through the DTE Maharashtra Lateral Entry CAP. Diploma holders directly enter second-year BE.

MCA Admission Process

• Eligibility: B.Sc in Science stream or BCA with minimum 50% aggregate. Mathematics mandatory at 10+2 or graduation level.
• Entrance Exam: MAH-MCA-CET score followed by CET Cell CAP

FAMT Ratnagiri Placements

FAMT Ratnagiri’s placement cell facilitates campus recruitment for BE and MCA graduates.
