Likes

The environment and the college campus beauty
Motivate student to participate in extra curriculum activities
Balancing between fun and study, they always involve students for organising events. Motivate them and engage with new learning skills. Teachers are great

Dislikes

Too many events like one of the biggest fest is Algeria
But student should balance the both things rather than blaming college

Placement Experience:

From 6 the semester students becomes eligible for campus placement. In 2025, Capgemini has visited our college and also the Many more They helped us for getting internship in 8th semester also. As out batch is of 2024 Covid batch there has been no such placement occurred but after that the ratio has increased

The internship of the college is good and not ot metion but the college compulsorily provides internships in 4th year. Some companion which ami remember are jio,Tata Power,tata consultancy services, wipro

Internships Opportunities:

i m yet to apply anywhere,but most of the stdents who applu as collge supports them get good stipend based on there skills and good knowledge, it is almost 10 to 20 thousands per month and interships are mostly in startups

The festival structure and organization is very good
The faculty as first year is very good in teaching
The student council and other council are very supportive

Dislikes

The exam schedule is not that good not got time for preparation

As first year I don't know details about intership but in our interaction session our coordinator tell us about compalsary intership and opportunities for students the various amount of intership offer are come in vaccation some of them are technical and some are non technical

FY Experience at Pillai College of Engineering.

Likes

The curriculum is structured nicely making it easy to study and score.
Most teachers are expert in their teaching and are supportive and interactive.
The campus is nice having all the facilities up to the mark

Dislikes

There are two internal assessment instead of just one mid term
The classrooms are not cooled by AC's and it gets really hot during the summer
The placement is pretty average showing almost no scope of a dream job

Placement Experience:

The overall placements of the college isnt up to the mark. The number of companies appearing in the placements are inadequate. The overall packages offered by the companies are very low end and the position they offer is of the lowest position in the company.

they could have more better cuirriculum design

Placement Experience:

If we talk about placements, I think it is more of your skills rather than marks. The average package goes from 4- 5 LPA. In semester 8, there isa compulsory six-month internship after which you can apply for campus placements. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for placements.

Likes

College Fest :Pillais college of engineering have the best fest in the entire state
Campus life :in Pillais college of engineering the campus life offer full freedom and fun
Labs have ac... And well equipped equipments

Dislikes

No ac in most of the classrooms is one of the major turn off
There is a jungle area behind the campus... Which is scenic but i didn't liked it much
Campus is just above average in size... It's beautiful still most of the area is occupied by other departments

Internships Opportunities:

Pillais college of engineering offers tcs, infosys, Capgemini etc in roles like software development and consulting... Most of them are paid , with hands on codeing , supply chains and uavs. The internship provide great industry exposure and skills

Very good campus excellent teacher good students they are very free and friendly
Alegra the festival pf joy where the festival in college gives campus life
Very good placement the collage came and ask to the students in their intrest of jobs

Strict college they want everything on time no dues
Library is too short for engineering students
Too much work load of syllabus on students

I can't tell the names thereof, Flipkart, Amazon, they give you role to operate in which you enrolled and they teaching you fir 6months. Projects talk about projects I choose as they give all of options in student interest. I choose and my friends to make bowling machine and give the presentation and the final product to the college by semester by semester and they also guide in this project, what to do what not to do everything.

The faculty is well experienced and is helpful for students. Also their teaching method is very good.
The infrastructure and learning facilities are excellent.
Also the many events are arranged by our college to encourage students for their professional and personal development

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement is offered by our college. Many companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosis,Tech Mahindra , ONGC, Amazon, Flipkart,etc often vists our college and many offers are made by them. The highest package offered by them is 32 lakhs. Average package is around 4-10 lakhs. Almost 95% percentage students get placement. I am planning for my higher studies after getting my degree.
