Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time Bachelor of Engineering [BE] should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

- Accredited by NAAC with A grade and it is accredited by NBA and is was established in 2001 and now it is the university and the highest packages are 35lpa and the lowest is 400000lpa top companies like Infosys,Wipro,TCS, Microsoft and many more will
- Ranked among top 100 engineering college in india and ranked 5th among karnataka state and the campus is 23acres with a huge sitting area and play grounds and lot of cultural activities going around and central library with 50000 volumes and there
Dislikes
- The teachers are not so well experienced and they never teach any thing in class and we have to learn from our end and they will not even pass or you won't get good score even after studying hard and the just fail and make you to apply for supplement
- Even after writing supplementary they won't pass you and few teachers behave very rude as if they own that college and it is located very far from the heart of bangalore and no proper government bus or city bus will come there only auto or cabs we

- The transportation is not good you have to travel a lot

I will be paying around 30 thousand to the college remaining fees would be payed by the government through the schlorship it would be around 60000 so the total fees comes around 90000 for the kcet students who have written the kcet entrance exam

- good placements and 100% placement for placement , you have to maintain CGPA
- the infrastructure is okay and average .classrooms are good

- above 85% attendence , strict correction of papers , cold hearted faculty
- per sem 8 subjects , no mercy teachers .

Likes
- The faculty at NMIT were knowledgeable and experienced. In our department many professors had a deep understanding of their subjects
- The curriculum was well structured in terms industry standard providing a good balance between theoretical and practical knowledges
Dislikes
- The campus is too far from main roads...as results there is no public transport facility
- The pressure to maintain attendance of 85% criteria can be stressful especially when we are balancing academics with internships.
Fees and Financial Aid:
NMIT Typically reviews it fee structure annually Total Cost for Engineering if You are from KCET Entrance exams would be around 95k out which 60k is govt fees and 30k is college fees..remaining 5k is miscellaenous... I Believe Karnataka students can go with SSP/NSP scholarships but i dont think so there is financial aids scheme available in college.. Campus Placements at NMIT is quite good..more than 150+ companies visits college every year..if you are good enough to grab a job you can get placed at reputed companies.

- They collect extra fees in case they are giving traning and also for the festival
- Chemistry faculties vary strict and full serious in class

For our ISE department Through kcet fees is 97000 Through comedk fees is 250000 And 7 lakh is the management fees You can avail the scholarships by Karnataka government worth twenty thousand They also help us to take education loans from the recognised bank

- The classrooms are well ventilated and enough room for the sunlight to enter, there is no issue based on the electricity.
- The teaching methodology is organized and the conduction of exams is procruted and the department I study in(ise) ,the teachers are very helpful and knowledged.
Dislikes
- The location of the college is in the outskirts of the city, leaving us to opt for college bus or ow vehicle
- Attandance that is maintained is very strict, there could have been some room for attandance because maintaining 85 throughout the sem is a bit difficulty considering the extra curricular activities that take place
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure for cet in 2021(GM) was 83k per year , might have increased this year upto 1 Lakh . But reservations are provided in kcet and comedk. Coming to management seats, it depends on the department of choice ranging from 4L upto 8L . There is more demand for CSE,ISE and ECE

- Atmosphere, Students, Culture and overall you can have a good time while studying. You can go around places and visit temples. Nice people and nice weather. All the necessary requirements can be fulfilled.Teacherss are supportive and give attention t
- Weather , and temperature always remains moderate and you can enjoy while studying
Dislikes
- Cost of living is a bit higher and you may spend a lot of money.
- Holidays are very less and they usually place extra classes if there's a holiday.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Placement cell is dedicated to ensure that students are placed in good companies. Though don't expect too much. Mostly Japanese company higher for above 20 LPA package, average package for information science and engineering branch is 6-7 LPA

- There are many extra crate activities in our campus
Dislikes
- Dislike They are not much fest and festivals celebrated in our college
- They conduct many exams in our college so we have to take stress

If you are taking admission through the COMEDK course then. The annual fees of the college will be approx. 2,40,000 (excluding the hostel), and the hostel fee is approx. 1,20,000. And if you are taking admission through KCET then there is a reservation for the student in fees.

- Architecture building is also good and nice
Dislikes
- Walking from mess to hostel is i disliked in the college
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure for 1st year is 237k and 20k is for exam fees and it follows for even 2nd and 3rd years. Hostel fees for 1st year are 145k and from 2nd year it is 115k and they even provide financial support and assistance. The government also provides scholarships.

- Things that I liked about this college is the infrastructure, teaching faculty, hostel staff.
- There are lot of greenery in this college which makes the atmosphere healthy.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is good, students with good family backgrounds can pay fees easily. But certain courses have high fees but thats normal because if you want the knowledge that helps you to grow your career then you have to pay for it. There are also scholarships for students who come from st/sc background and don't have much money to pay fees. Although College is good for pursuing higher studies.
