Course Curriculum Overview:
Computer science in engineering was booming at the time I passed out my 12th class so I joined it. Since technology especially software part was at the peak and really booming this made me choose CSE.
The curriculum is really very vast and exhaustive. You can't study everything to the point and also implement what you have studied. In 4 years you can only so much as part of your syllabus that helps you clear the final exam and get good CGPA, probably above 7.5 CGPA.
Either the duration of engineering must be increased or the syllabus reduced because it is next to impossible to Study everything within the stipulated time frame and also think about implementing it or understanding what we have learnt and were we can apply it.
Smart boards need to be implemented by faculty, instead of the old chalk and black board approach. This will save time, make us understand the concepts in a comprehensive manner and also in a better way. Pictorial representation of topics and concepts are far more memory retaining than just words.
Exams and tests are conducted at the appropriate time so that's good no need to correct anything exam conduction wise or the question wise. The syllabus needs to be precisely mentioned so that out of syllabus questions are less and we only study that which is within the syllabus. Exam questions are decent enough and some do make you think, however none are that difficult.
