Likes

The college is located in a prettty decent area.
The teachers and the teaching in the college is impeccable.
The schedule of the classes is not hectic at all.

The infrastructure is not modern and upto par

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course because of the immense scope amd job opportunities in the field of data science. The curriculum being taught is good but they cpuld add more subjects related to data science. The internals are conducted twice a sem and are 2 months apart. The internals are fairly easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college claims to provide internship opportunities as there is a mandatory internship for the degree.but us students are not aware of the companies offering internship at our college or about the roles being offered.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible to placements from the 7th semester. There are very few companies visiting now but there are significant improvements happening so better companies are expected to visit.The highest package being offered was 12lpa.the average package is 5lpa.very few students gets placed through on campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I being a management seat student am paying rs 1,20,000 every year(2 sems). My friends from kcet are paying around 98,000. And there is a registration fee for the registration of exams before every sem. Students can avail scholarships such as ssp and nsp and many other scholarships.

Campus Life

There are no fests or tecnnical fests held at all.There is not much exposure to the outside world and to the technical world. There are vast range and number of books available in the library. Sports and nss are held regularly.There are no clubs

Admission

UI had other colleges like reva and precidency in mind.but i knew i wouldn't get into them through kcet.This college seemed faily nice and it was affordable to get into and is in the city.the admission process involves document submission, verification and paying fees.

Faculty

There are ample number pf faculties in pur department. They are very helpful and kind and approacheable. Our HOD mr ziaulla is the best,very hardworking and kind. Each sem there are two internals and an external. Apart from that there are few class tests.

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

The college with good staff!!

Placement Experience:

From 8 8th semester, students become eligible for the campus. The companies like IT companies offer made. The highest package is 6 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh. 25% of students are selected for the campus. I plan to work at google company.

The College Life Of A Bangalorean

CET was the criteria for me choosing my college. I wrote CET and based on that I got a seat in KNSIT and hence when CET placements for colleges were going on i choose KNSIT. KNSIT was near to my home and the locality of the college was also good and decent hence I chose it. CET, management quota and some other quotas are the eligibility criteria to get into our college. Process is simple wrote CET and clear it and get admission into one of the engineering streams or pay more money and get a seat via management quota or normal general quota. Via CET there is a cutoff and it varies year to year based on the difficulty of the exam conducted that year other than this there's no cutoff for other admission ways. Scholarship quota also is there and some get into the college by getting some scholarship while they were studying 12th, so fees is also less for these students....Read More
