KNS Institute of Technology Reservation 2024
- 5% of the seats in each B.E. discipline are reserved under Supernumerary Quota. All candidates including General Merit are eligible for allotment of seats under Supernumerary quota provided annual income of the family from all the sources is less than INR 6 Lakhs.
- 15% and 5% of the Government seats will be reserved horizontally in favour of rural candidates and Kannada medium candidates respectively.
- Additionally reservation is also given under Defence, Sports, NCC, Anglo- Indian, Handicapped quota.
- Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/CS/Electronics or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
- In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/other backward classes, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examinations.
- Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI categories

I have written KCET entrance exam and got seat in KNSIT engineering college of Bangalore,i have been allotted for information science branch and my total college fees per year is 98,984/- .and my hostel fees per year is 77,500/-.

- Management who take care and who are responsible for all the activities in the college

- Canteen with very less food varieties and unreasonable cost
- Poorly maintained washrooms and restrooms

The eligibility of the course is to have a minimum of 70% cutoff in your PU in Physics, Maths and Chemistry. I opted for a management seat, so we went to the college office, requested an application form, and then we filled out the form and paid the fees. The admission process was hassle-free.

- There are no clubs, groups, websites run by students.

I was admitted to the college based on my CET ranking. This college was allotted to me during the allotment process. The eligibility for computer science course was CET ranking below 25K. The application was given in the college itself. Once the form was filled out and submitted, we paid the fees and completed the admission process.

- Majority of the students speak local language which is a major problem for north Indian students
- The infrastructure is not that good as compared to other colleges.

The student should pass 12 standards with a science background with maths as a mandatory subject. Admission forms can be availed through the college website and through the college administration office. Some Seats are reserved for Karnataka students.

There is no special eligibility required for admission to this college you just need to provide the amount they ask for and you get directly admitted into the course. In fact, the fee structure for KCET students is higher than the management which is really unfair. There is a lot of improvement required in the admission process. They provide false information for admission purposes.
