- Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
- Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
- The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it
Dislikes
- Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
- From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
- There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

- COLLEGE CAMPUS IS LARGE .LOTS OF SPORTS ARE THERE TO PLAY LIKE VILLEYBALL, BASKETBALL,CRICKET AND OTHER INDOOR GAMES ALSO.ONE CAN'T BE GET BORED WHEN HE ENTERED INTO THE COLLEGE CAMPUS.
- TEACHERS IN THE COLLGE IS TOO GOODMTHEY ARE LIKE MENTORS EHICH GUIDE STUDENTS TO SUCCESS IN THEIR GOALS.THEY DISCUSS OUR EVERY PROBLEMS .
- THE FACILITIES PROVIDED IN THE COLLEGS IS GOOD.LIKE FOR STUDENTS FOOD MEAL, FOR TEACHERS FREE BUS SERVICE.CLASSES ARE GOOD AS IT IS LARGE AND WELL AD CONDITIONED.

- HOSTEL FOR BOYS IS NOT AVAILABLE WHICH IS BAD FOR US.
- PLACEMENT IS NOT TOO GOOD IT LIES IN BETWEEN 4-5.5 LAKHS PER ANNUM.
- MOST OF THE CSE DEPARTMENT TEACHERS ARE GOOD BUT SOME OF THEM ARE VERY RUDE TO STUDENTS THEY GIVE VERY LESS MARKS THEY DIDN'T EVEN REALISE THE EFFORTS OF STUDENTS.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I CHOSE COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING BECAUSE IT HAS MORE JOBS OPPORTUNITIES THAN OTHER DEPARTMENTS.FACULTY ARE TOO GOOD IN THIS INSTITUTE,THEY ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL IN SOLVING OUR DOUBTS.THEY ARE WELL EXPERIENCED TO DEAL OUR PROBLEMS AND THEY TEACH EXTREMELY WELL IN THE CLASSES.EXAMS ARE QUITE GOOD TAKEN BY THE INVIGILATORS THEY ARE TOO STRICT NOT A SINGLE BOY/GIRL WILL BE ABLE TO TURN AROUND.DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF QUESTION PAPER ARE FROM LOW LEVEL TO HIGH LEVEL ALMOST 60% OF PAPER CONTAINS MODERATE LEVEL DIFFICULTY PROBLEMS.

Placement Experience:
From the 6th semister the students can became eligible for the campus placements. There are many companies which offers the placements to the freshers such as Deccan chemicals, fine chemicals, Indian cements, coramandal, l and t, tcs etc. The avareage package offers to the student is four lack per annum. The minimum percentage for students to get aligibel for the placement is based on the company which you have applied.

Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are pretty average. For CSE students one can expect a minimum package of 3.5LPA and an average package of 6.5LPA. Almost 90 percent of students get placed each year so it is decent.

- Teaching method is too much good in this collage and faculty is also good and senior are also helpful for better road map

- There local persons are very toxic and everyone speaks in Bengali language so and it's problem for other state students

After 7 th semester students can eligible for campus placement or students must have 7-8 CGPA for sitting a campus placement
There are so many companies visited in this collage like TCS , VIPRO ,AMBUJA CEMENT ,TATA TCE and etc
The highest package from this colage 40LPA and average package from this colage 5 to 6 lPA
Average over all 95% students placed from this college
Do intership and best job other wise I will give gate exam

- The crowd is great. People are helpful and friendly
- There are no strict attendance policy or anything as such
- The sports facilities and coaches are really great

- No fest or freshers has been held since 2020
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester.
Not a lot of companies have visited due to recession this year.
The highest package was of 10LPA offered by Tejas Networks, it took 5 students.
As of now, percentage of placement is less.
I want to get placed.

- Faculty - faculty is helpful and know their subject
- Course fee is less compared to other colleges .
- It has a good library with the right amount of books for one to study .
Dislikes
- Extracurricular activities are not encouraged neither supported , and neither the fests happen.
- The campus , most of the ground come under the heritage school and not the college , and we have to bring our own sports equipments
- Location of the college is not good , far away from the main Kolkata city .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choosed the course btech cse because I aspire to be a software engineer and have genuine interest in coding. The college mantains a healthy faculty:student ratio . Most of the faculty here is helpful and have good knowledge over the topics they teach though there are some exceptions . The semester exams are conducted after 6 months and in betweens we're provided with surprise tests ranging from easy to moderate levels .

- Faculty - The faculty members are decent and most of them have good knowledge in their subject
- Equipment- The equipments here are decent , practicals go smoothly.
- Library- the library is really well mantained and has a lot of helpful books for the students to study or refer from.
Dislikes
- Fest - There are no fests ,like the other colleges have.
- No Student council - There s no student council which could have fought for the students rights, could have encourage more extracurricular activities in the college.
- Small campus and a really bad location far away form main city of kolkata

- There are two canteens present in our college campus.
- Labs and library are attractive for students.
Dislikes
- There is no any hostel facility available in campus for boys.
- For non Bengali students language barrier in most disappointing thing.
Placement Experience:
There are many companies visited in our college for placement. After 6-7th semester placement will start. For good package you have to score CGPA above 8. The average package of our college is about 5lakhs. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc, want CGPA above 7.5 . There is about 80-85 percent students get placed.

- On campus hostel is really too high according to the price.
- As same as mess fee is also high .they have to minimise it.
- There is no ac available in all buildings.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.
- Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
- Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
- Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
- Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
- Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
