- Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
- Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
- The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it
Dislikes
- Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
- From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
- There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

- I like placements of this college. Sports facilities are also good.
- Library provided is very attractive to all the students here. Mechanical labs are good.
- I like faculty's dedication to teach the students. They use to be punctual and discipline with their classes.
Dislikes
- No fests are provided. No freshers party. Very little cultural activities take place.
- Swimming facilities are not provided. No gym facilities. No ac in classrooms.
Placement Experience:
After 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Last year highest package is like 38lpa but it is off campus. On campus average pakage is 4lpa.approx70percent of the students get placed. Companies like tcs, wipro, etc sometimes Amazon also come here.

- College campus is good compare to other colleges in kolkata.
- Seniors are very supportive they even play cricket with us and helps in coding too
- College placement is quiet decent. Many students get placed every year.
Dislikes
- We have surprise test here instead of mid term
- The college don't have any fest which i feel it must be there.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was very passionate about coding. So I took computer science engineering as my branch so I could learn coding skills. And the college helped me to learn coding in an easy way so I could solve various coding questions.

- There is always a fight in the student counclin members
- For hindi speaking people its dificult to get engage
Placement Experience:
So this time the placement is not so good approx 50% student is placed till now at a lower package and 50% is still not placed bt good student also get a package of 13 lpa from colege and even upto 100k dollor in off campus

- The teachers is somehow supported the bengali student
Placement Experience:
The placement is not so good as this year only 40% students get placement and rest are still unplaced and the company visits collage is so less like only a tCS come and take 100 students resr are just selected 2-3 students in 4 lpa

- Faculty members are very good and friendly

- Very long college hours with very less breaks
- Lots of surprise tests are taken by the teacvero
Placement Experience:
The placements are decent with average package being 5 lacs. Highest for 2024 has been 12 lacs till now. Most students get placed at TCS and other mass recruiters. Students from 6th semester are eligible for placements.
Companies like Tejas Network (10 lpa) , Cozeva (12 lpa), TCS (9 lpa, 7.5 lpa, 4.5 lpa), Mindsprint(5.5 lpa) PWC, EY etc. visit the campus and around 80% students get placed. I am placed at Tejas Networks so i will be joining the company after degree

- I liked the campus and its infrastructure as its too beautiful
- The professor are so friendly and supportive in nature
- The senior and junior both are like brothers there are there when you need any help
Dislikes
- You need to have 75% attendance is compulsory
- The gym is not accessible my the btech students
- From the 2 years there is no fest organised

The placement is good enough even in the recession time many good company come to clg in It sector and even in core sector.....the placement is decent approximately 90% is placed till now in CSE department

- I had a good experience here the college made me a good and patience person who has the capability to bear Stress and utilise my full potential.
- I got to the environment of computer science and the lab structure made me understand it really well.
- There is a good atmosphere at the library and other places.
Dislikes
- Not having enough cultural fests and that many events.
- Not having that much amount of sports event except the sports week.
- Not having ac system which makes the summer unbearable here at Kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I made this decision of talking cse because my decision specifically centralised onto the fact of getting job out of here and my specific desire to study cse and learning new tech . There is no doubt about the college being good and you will be aware of how to get a good grasp of the concepts as there were regular lab sessions and was really a good one because we have to be a part of it and were compulsory for us. They really flicked the switch in us to work hard as they were strict and really helpful in learning the different aspects of DSA , oops and dbms and so which were really important for placements. There were frequent examination on labs to check our progress.

- I like the food in the cafeteria,it is also affordable
- I like the people in heritage,some people are really focused in their career
- I like the campus it's really beautiful and the playground is really big

- Some people might not be helpful so you need to stay away from them
- We are only allowed to enter through gate number 9 even though there are 9 gates
- We are not allowed to use the swimming pool
Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus of the course is relevant in my opinion since in first year you get to study about all the branches therefore in second year you get a better idea of which branch is more suitable for you and if you have good grades then you can change your branch and move to the branch which is better suited for you

- Though no matter how much teachers tells u to attain classes.they let u write exams at the end.
- Seniors here are quite helping not all but max .
Dislikes
- The area near to college isnt as clean and is a kind of smelly.
- College is kind of out of city and u neand nearest metro is like 10 km from here.
- Duration of theory classes can be decreased.
Placement Experience:
Usually student are eligible from 6th mostly 7th for campus placement. Companies visiting here are mostly mass recruiters like TCS , IBM and others but big companies too have visited the campus but hiring from them isn't much. Till last year campus placement was great but due to recession has decreased this year.

- Helpful faculty and seniors. Enjoyable college environment with no politics.
- The labs are well equiped and well maintained. The library has a good collection of books and magazines
- The college has collaborations with different companies and other colleges.
Dislikes
- Strict attendance policy of 75%. Attendace in labs is compulsary
- No college fest in campus for last 3 years.
- Campus is smaller compared to some colleges.
Placement Experience:
The placement senario is comparitively goo. The average package offered is around 5 lakhs per annum. Various students were offered high package of around 10lpa. Even during recession 85% students were placed. The on campus companies have a positive view of the quality of students in HITK.

What is your review of Heritage Institute of Technology in terms of hostels, campus life, and placements?

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.
- Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
- Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
- Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
- Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
- Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
