Honest review

Academic curriculum of this college is very good for students. They use to take continuous surprise test in this manner students keep care of their studies on a regular basis. Here all the teachers do their job. They teach in every class. But they don't take care of that whether students are understanding them or not. They don't try to change their teaching style so that students can also understand all the concepts. So i think teacher should take care of that. Difficulty level of surprise test are very easy. But semester exam is a little tough.

Paid internships are not offered in our college. But interniships are provided to have experience are learn in many companies like tcs, infosys, etc. Our college also organise summer internships to get hand on experiences.

After 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Last year highest package is like 38lpa but it is off campus. On campus average pakage is 4lpa.approx70percent of the students get placed. Companies like tcs, wipro, etc sometimes Amazon also come here.

Tution fees of this college is one of the thing that attracts me toward this college. As compare to other private colleges it's tution fees are less. I mean just 4lakh to get a btech degree. And it is a well known and one of the best college for btech in West Bengal. No scholarships are there to get admission in this college. And the campus provide employment 70percent of the students . The average package for a cse student is approx4lpa.

We are provided with so many clubs. And one can join max 3 clubs. But everyone is invited to take part in all clubs workshops, seminars or any functions and program. Sports facilities such as basketball, table tennis, cricket, football, archery are also available. But there is no swimming facility. Social groups like nss is also very active in this college. But we don't get any fest. No freshers party????. Library is one of the best place for students here because it is provided with all type of books and it is fully air conditioner. And it's sitting capacity is also very good. Our clasrooms don't have ac so students suffer a lot in summer.

Hostel facilities are quite good but no ac are supplied in any of the rooms. It's price is a little high comparing to the facilities provided. But it takes full care of our safety. Hostel fee is 7000 per month and additional mess fee is 2600 per month. No electric bill need to pay. We are provided with inductions also in our hostel. Some indoor games like table tennis, carrom, badminton also. Quality of food provided is quite good but breakfasts are not healthy as they give pasta, samosa, rolls, burger, etc in breakfast. Every room is either 3or4or6 sitter. One can apply for hostel during admission in college and it is easily provided to you.

There is no such concept of PI or GD to take admission in this college.one can get admission by qualifying a government based examination named wbjee. One can also get admission on the basis of his/her rank in jee (mains). Direct admission also happen but there are only some limited seats are present. In wbjee exam, cutoff rank for this college is approx 4000 to secure a cse core branch to persue btech degree. Reservations are there in wbjee to get admission in this college for west Bengal domicile students. The difficulty level of wbjee is exam is not that much high.. And i would say it's level of difficulty is not comparable with jee mains. One can easily secure a good rank in wbjee. If you secure like 52 or something you can expect 5k rank as per the last year of data.
