Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcoz I basically interested in technology line i.e., computer and I want to make my passion in software or computer engineering. 1:2 Every faculties are highly qualified from reputed university like Calcutta University, Jadavpur University etc. and some of them have done phd also. As term exam in our college is not so difficult and it always be happen at the end of semester. Professors also take class test when our module gets finished.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year one can sit for the placements. As far as I know highest ctc is 44 lpa but unfortunately, it was from off campus, and from on campus average ctc offered is about 500000. I think one should definitely work on his/her skills to get a job.

Placement in Heritage is quite good. Many well-known companies like IBM, Pwc, EY, Grant Thornton, and LTI came to campus. The Highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA. About 80% of students are getting placements.

Placement is average in our college,the highest package of college received is 10 lakhs this year, Infosys TCS,etc visiting our college for placement.the percentage of students getting placement is quite Low

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science and engineering is something that attracts me and since in todays world everything needs technology which makes my course even more desirable. The faculty members are good and punctual, if we talk about ratio of boys and girls then I would say it depends on who scored a good score in exam will study here so the ratio is not a point to focus

Placement Experience:

The Placement scenario is good in this college. If you are a CSE/IT/ECE student you get an average package of 7 lakhs but other branches have some difficulty getting placement. But they get the placement of 3-4 Lakh per Annum. The highest package is 44 Lakhs. 90% of students are placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements have fallen drastically in the last two years and very few companies have visited till now with an average package of 50000. Also, the companies which visited are not famous or big. I don't think even 50% per cent will get placed

From 3rd year to the end, students are eligible for placement. According to our seniors. this year there has been little effect of the recession but still placement in CSE is around 4-5lpa. And most of the students get the placement from the college.

After sixth semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visiting are more of mass recruiters like tcs,Wipro,cognizant .Big companies like Microsoft also come.Placement ratio is around 80 percent and around 90 in cse branch.After getting degree one can go for job or can also choose higher studies.

What is your review of Heritage Institute of Technology in terms of hostels, campus life, and placements?

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

  • Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
  • Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
  • Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
  • Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
  • Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
