Good lab upgrades especially analog and micorcontroller labs
A good tieup with samsung innoovative campus and infosys springboard for student development

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and buildings no proper maintainance
Few other labs woren out with old windows 7 installed

Faculty:

Pretty good number of faculties are hired....majorly 2-3 lecturers have a phd and the remaining assistant professors r non phd holders yet professional and the hods r well qualified and experienced...all the faculty is very interactive and supportive

Likes

I like campus..it's a friendly campus wid greenery all around which feels peaceful
The sports is excellent in dbit ..one who wants to move forward in that has a great opportunity

Dislikes

Food in the canteen that needs to be checked again
Not letting out of college at times like fest and no classes

Faculty:

The faculty is really good and the teachers are really friendly...they treat students like friends and when comes to teaching they make sure everyone understands it ..the ece faculties r very good and the reason is they take care of literally everything in the ec branch .. there will be one main exam in each sem which r also called internals and every year has 2 sems which sums up to 4 years and 8 sems

Likes

Availability of books from library all the time.
Calm and greenary place where we can study anywhere around this place

Dislikes

The canteen in this college provides average food.
HOD's are always strict in terms of education which scares us.

Faculty:

18:1 is the faculty to student ratio where they are called as mentors ,who delivers our scores to parents or guardians frequently.And they are very understanding and approachable in terms of any matter. Sushma ma'am is best because of their teaching etiquettes and best in terms of approach. Faculty I didn't like is chanabasava who created group among students who studied good and who studies average.That is the reason I don't like him

Life at DBIT

Likes

Luscious green spread campus. Ample amout of space to relax
Extremely active alumni network supporting in placements career guidance

Dislikes

Located in outskirts of Mysore road travelling time is high
Placements are moderate no core companiss visiting

Faculty:

Affliated to VTU all the exams are from VTU syllabus and guidlines are set across by VTU. Implementation of NEP has a wide positive effect on the syllabus. Totally a modrate course easy to pass with friendly faculties.

Environment is good for anyone has a seperate library who are interested can study there
Very good infrastructure..it has a very good environment..

Dislikes

Some faculties who aren't interested in teaching are hired ..some are freelancers who would leave the job in the middle of the semester
Environment outside the college isn't good as the inside.

Faculty:

Most of the faculties are good and dedicated ,some are a little bit opposite ..and for approaching and asking doubts it's easy for them to approach and talk to them they are friendly ,there will be 2 internals ever semester and a lab internals and semester end final exam

Review about DBIT

Likes

The lush green campus which provide the peace of mind
The encouragement in sports and curricurals activities

Dislikes

The campus is too far from the bengaluru
The cafeteria could be still more big with seating

The exams is conducted by vtu on the semister basis but now the cureent 2024 batch is autonomous the vtu conducted exams but foe the 2024 batch college conducts its own exam the factulty and studemt ratio is 1:55

Likes

Teachers are friendly and supportive they encourage each and every student
ISE Department is one of best branch in DBIT as our seniors told

Dislikes

Campus is ok ok principal will not support for sports
Only one fest will be conducted once in a year

Faculty:

In our clg they will conduct 3 CIE. In 1st year they will take average of three CIE. From 2nd year onwards only 2 CIE will be conducted . Almost all teachers are well experienced and some teachers are inexperienced.But we can manage our studies. evaluation is liberal and our college is now autonomous from 2024 batch.

The infrastructure and the labs are pretty decent
The placement department is very helpful and makes sure everyone gets placed

Dislikes

The canteen food is very unhygienic and many insects have been found
Most of the faculties are unfriendly and they are rude

Faculty:

While some of the faculties are great teachers, most of them are very bad at teaching and it's hardly understandable and they rush through modules in just a couple of days and don't give much time to study at the end of the semester and they make things hectic

No big offers for placement with big payment

Faculty:

Qualification of teachers is good, they have good input and information to provide. They teach in better way so that students can grasp things soon. Also interaction is also very good within teachers and students.
