CGC provides wide range of opportunity in the field of placement and other activities like hackathon, others competitions.
have smart room classes and labs that provides better environment for study

the crowded environment of cgc and 75% mandatory attendance

in CGC the semester fee is approximately 60k to 65 k. there are scolership program that offers by PTU during the online Counseling named TFW(tution fee waiver). if there are fest in college so that have seperate fee that will automatically includes in your due account.

I really like the helpful nature of teachers all are very cooperative
The placement offers in my college is very good with the higher package of 45 lpa

Dislikes

Affiliation with the Punjab technical University
Their is no any transportation for students in campus like electric vans

I pay 67000 for one sem and yearly fees is 135000 without any transportation without examination fees Fees is not increasing My friend is get scholarship he apply from University with the EWS he pays 20000 per semester

This College is Excellent for student who like to play sports.

Dislikes

I dont like the food of my college canteen its not my type.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The Fees of my college per semester is 65000 and yearly it goes 130000. Modes available for payments are Credit Card,UPI,Net Banking,Cash. Scholarship are based on the ranks of JEE and CUET,JEE and Entrance Exams. Max scholarship which you can get is aroud 50% on your course.

CGC Landran

Likes

Decent placement , here it is a placement and training department aims at providing placement opportunities
Good exposure , here students comes from different parts of the country , you learn a lot from them .

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much good , but kaam chalaau like , also faculty is not that much Good , take lecture in a old fassion.
No new and currently technology is used while teaching

Fees and Financial Aid:

Here is it is most affordable college in private sector , a total fees of 520000 is being paid for the 2023-27 term of my btech ai sa course . Fees wise it is just worth it you could get the degree and a job is under your skills that's all.

Cgc good for placements but no campus life

Likes

Enviornment - The environment of this college is very good like the teachers and students around here are very friendly.
Great Infratstructure : This infrastructure of this college is also very great

Dislikes

Campus life : The campus life is kindaa not that great although there are a lot of shops in the campus

Fee is quite hight for the things they offer.Yhe campus is not not big and ther isnot even ac in a single class room . the fees of hostel is also very high they also dont have ac rooms and we get ac rooms for paying 1.5 lakh a year which is quite high and we dont even get good food. Although. they offer some scholrships for the poor students and also marks based schlorship

I liked the faculty the staff and the show they organise
I liked their alumni network they have designated stars as their alumni

Dislikes

They have a small campus it’s like 50acre only
Outside the Chandigarh no one knows the name of cgc

The fee structure is in first sem you have to pay 68000 in second semester you have to 64150 this is the sem fees and for hostel the fees depends on which hostel you are choosing mine hostel fees is 130000 per year and there are no such scholarships program in cgc

My perfect college

Likes

The college provides great placement opportunities.
It has a great friendly and coding environment.

Dislikes

The campus is very small as compared to other colleges.
There are less celebrities coming and lesser events.

The fee here is minimal as compared to other universities which makes this college feasible for middle class people where they can send their children to learn at a cheaper rate and yet the placement is great.

Cgc coe landran

Likes

In cgc coe of you have merits then you will have good package in hands by campus placement.
College have good sports department which conducts regular tournament.

Dislikes

In cgc faculty didn't encourage you to do something productive.
Faculty don't want to teach like a pro faculty which average or lower students need.

Fees and Financial Aid:

When in join cgc in 2022 college tution fees was 95000 per year but after 1 year they increases it to 130000 and this is very large amount to increase fees in just 1 year. Complete cost of 4 year education including everything is approx 9 lakhs. Currently I am in 2nd year so I don't know pretty much about placement and internship.

Likes

I like the like because campus was huge enough.
Campus life was very well because i got good friends.

Dislikes

College was huge that is why we have to travel much.
Some students in our campus were having much attitude.

The fee structure of my college is that we have pay fee every semester . Each semester cost us 56000 rs . Our campus provides many types of opportunities and rewards, if we participate in any events and programs we get rewards, certificates and etc.

My College is best

Likes

The faculty of the college is very nice and fair. They are very helpful.
The campus is very neat and clean. There are many trees and park. In short clean and green college.

Dislikes

I dislike one thing that the semester fee is taken before 2-3month of semester starting.
There is no outing before 12:00pm if you enter the college

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college tution fee of my course is still stable from my admission. It is 47500 per sem. I didn't get any scholarship. Also don't have any campus employment undertaken, including job roles etc. I am completing my studies from my parents income. There is no any other source.

How many marks or what rank is needed to get into CSE at CGC Landran?

The two options for taking admission to CGC Landran are below.

Through PTU Counselling: 75% seats.
Directly by college: 25% seats.

Admission Details:

B. Tech admission is on the valid score of JEE Main for Punjab domicile candidates.
The final admission is dependent upon the PTU counseling.
In JEE Main, you need a rank up to 6-7 lakhs.
You can also get direct admission to this college. The only condition is that you should have at least 70 percent marks in your HSC.
Even though your HSC marks are short, you may also get a college seat on a donation basis. The donation rates change according to your marks in HSC and the time left for starting the new academic session.

CS branch stands out from all other branches in CGC Landran. In CGC, there are two colleges - COE and CEC

Looking at the academics, CEC is better.

Features of College:

In the CS batch of CGC, the strength of students is almost 700. In each section, there are 60 students.
The teaching skills of professors here are not decent. It is more theoretical based on than practical. You have to put in your own efforts. One of my friends was a student of the institute and after one month of the course, he decided to leave the course because of the faculty quality.
