CGC College of Engineering Landran Faculty

Faculty is very nice and well educated in this college and mostly all of them are of very friendly nature. Here exams are conducted 3 times in one semester. 1) mst-1 of 24 marks 2)mst-2 of 24 marks. These are for internal marks and one is ptu examination of 60 marks.

The ratio of faculty-to-student is 1:10. The relationship between the faculty and the student was so good like no student disrespect the teacher in the class. The teacher also talk politely to all the students in the classroom. I like the gitesh sir which is my maths teacher because its teaching skills was very impressive and easy to understand. I didn't like our PPS teacher named Mohammad Amman Khan just because it speak very slow and his teaching skills was not good at all There was 4 semester exams which was conducted by PTU(Punjabi technical university) the level of the paper was easy to moderate. Almost 10-20% of the class was failed to clear the exams.

The faculty to the student ratio in the college is around 70:30 .The relationship between student and faculty is well and good teachers corporate with the students and clear their doubts immediately .

The college has a average ratio for both boys and girls. Though the male ratio is higher as comparison to girls. The teachers may or may not he good depending upon thier nature and your relation with them. All you have to do is to maintain a good relation to score well and get attendence properly. Talking about the exams thiwr are 2 semester exams conducted in nov and April mostly affiliated by PTU . And also their are various class test and 2 mid semester test per sem.

The faculty to students ratio is around 1:25 in most classes. Most professors are approachable and supportive especially if students show genuine interest in their course. I like miss priyankya for their knowledge in mathematics and she provides strong theoretical foundations. Some professors tech cse topics theoretically without practical applications. Certain subjects are taught in a basic way, with little connection to cse applications. The b.tech cse syllabus is designed as per ptu guidelines but updated regularly. Mst are easier, covering badic to intermediate level questions. Final exams require depper understanding.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Faculty are very friendly in nature(excluding some teacher). I liked almost all my faculty teacher due to their teaching style and nature. There are 4 exams held in a year (including mid semester exams). For some subject exam came too tough most of students get fail.

Some of the faculty members are genuinely good tey listen our problems like our problems and its help is too many case even the facing the hods but some of the faculty's is rude their is criteria that 75 % attendance is mandatory but some have 70% approx even the teacher will be detain the student the detained student can not pass even they cannot sit in the exam that was wrong for everyone even the is discriminating in the student

The faculty and students relationship is very good . Teachers are good with students and they help a lot to students with their studies and further future plans . As the exams are nearby , teachers help us with the strategies for the exams and tell us how to attempt the papers , so it becomes easy for us to sit for the exams . There are mainly 5 important exams for every course in each semester.

The faculty members of the college is very knowledgeable and helpful, they are open to doubts. The exam structure is not good, there are two MST throughout the semester which is very hectic for students.

Faculty to student ratio is 1 teacher to 50 -60 . Students can easily approach teacher. I like the facilites like labs and library . Best teacher are sumeet sir for maths . I dont like semester 1 teachers of coe . 2 mst are there in one semester and one final exam . Exams are moderate in difficulty.
