College has good library and labs and also has good amenities

People are mostly rural here including the staff which reduces the professionalism
Water cooler is faulty not drinkable water

Course Curriculum Overview

Aspects of this curriculum that forced me to join this course are immediate employment after course completion. Curriculum plays good role for real world scenarios. Improvement can be more practical workshops and exams are very frequent

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 139000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester is rs 64500 . If we take admission other than regular mode ie by ptu conselling then we have to pay only 27000 rs . Examination charges are 1500 per semester . Loan can also be taken .

Campus Life

The names of annual fest include parivartan and annual sports meet also aagaz . Books and journals are readily available but the book issuing validity is very less 21 days only . Clubs and groups are very vast but only a few are good .

Admission

I applied for chitkara university for btech cse and punjab university for bca . I didn't get a rejection but it was my sole choice for this college . Fees for other colleges was high and placements were not that good compared to tier 3 colleges. Admission process is both online and offline . Exams are fine but difficult

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1 teacher to 50 -60 . Students can easily approach teacher. I like the facilites like labs and library . Best teacher are sumeet sir for maths . I dont like semester 1 teachers of coe . 2 mst are there in one semester and one final exam . Exams are moderate in difficulty.

Night Life

Places for roaming in college include block canteens ground and nescafe food court and other eateries. Hostels are sukhmani and newboys hostel for boys while kalapana hostel for girls. Nightlife is good and safe to roam around at night

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
