Likes
- Firstly the security of LPU campus is too good. Full campus is secured with 24*7 camera surveillance, more than 250+ experienced security personnel, proper powerful flood lights, face detector at hostels for check in and check out.
- Food of the mess is too good. There are also more than 100 food courts.
- They provide us good experienced faculties for each subject. With those teachers in good tech-equipped classrooms or labs it feels too good.
Dislikes
- There is no gap between two consecutive periods so we have to request our teachers for some time for classroom shifting or may be for a pee break.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here, I like the time-to-time updatation of the curriculum to make students job-ready according to the modern evolving society's needs. Most importantly, here, students participate actively and design at least 20% of the curriculum. Hands-on experience with proper knowledge of theory helps students shape the new world. Students are given plenty of time before the exams to prepare for it and check their skills. Time-to-time meeting with the mentor also helps students a lot
Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience
Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined LPU during the second phase of admission this year(2025). I appeared for the LPUNEST examination and got selected and became eligible for a 45% scholarship. However, they have more scholarship criteria based on your 10th and 12th academic scores. I got an additional 20% off on the tuition fees ( 1.40 lakh for CSE / semester) for being a teacher's ward(LPU SHIKSHAK SANMAN ANUDAN). They also provide the same for the wards of defence personnel. After an additional 10k deduction due to EDB offer, my final tuition fee per sem is now 51,600 INR.They also even offers 100% scholarship. Just check their website for more details. They charge me 1.20L (after 10k EDB deduction) for a 3-seater ac apartment with a pantry(incl 550w of free electricity/bed & free maintenance). Good condition rooms (1-8 seater,ac/non-ac, attached washroom) also available.There is no such registraton fees separately. It's included in the tuition fees for the first time. But you have to pay 4500 for exams and 4000 for uniforms and all.As per my knowledge, they also provide some good scholarships based on the semester exams.
Campus Life
Here fests and events keeps happening . Induction curnival with 50+ sports car, DJ nights, Haunted Party. There are nearly all kinds of books, journals and other things needed for our study. In LPU, there is a huge indoor sports stadium with world-class facilities. Good players are given the best exposure of sports experience and facilities here. There are multiple clubs for different activities and students use there free time here to showcase therir talents.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms here are of very well maintained condition with pre installed ac and all other furnitures. Meals from the mess are good enough and tasty. They are pre-planned and according to professional nutritionist. you can book the hostel and mess from your lpu dashboard
Admission
I haven't applied to other colleges, although I have researched enough about them and can say why I chose LPU ? Firstly, the flexible and new curriculum which allows us to be prepared according to the new tech's need. Alumni mentors informs us about the current scenario from time to-time. This is a "No-Ragging Campus"and it's 101% true. I've never seen such supportive seniors. Some other reasons are reasonable course fees,good looking campus, good sports facities, scope for all kind of students. Students are accepted here via JEE mains or LPUNEST examination.
Faculty
Here we share a very good bond with all the faculty members. They are knowledgeable, energetic, and friendly.In our first semester, Dr. Vishal Thakur (PHY), Dr.Nishant Agnihotri (Computing -1), Prof.Ujjwal Makkar(Autocad), Prof.Bhavna ma'am(Web-dev), Prof. Komol Kumari(Python), Dr.Ajay Kumar(Math) teaches us too good. I am proud to say that in our section, there is not a single teacher whom we don't like. Each semester has 1 midterm and 1 end-term exam and some continuous assessment tests and other projects, depending upon the subject.
Night Life
All food facilities closes here by 11 o'clock at night. That's really a problem for the night owls. To ensure girls' security, they are provided a female security if they want to go library or foodcourt after 8 p.m.
