College campus is quite big,it is around 70acres which is quite bigger then small colleges
College classrooms are neat and clean also staff here is very nice there as they solve every student problems
Hostel life here is very good as students are more friendly here then other colleges.

Dislikes

College is nice but the main thing that the classrooms doesn’t have Ac.only a few classrooms have Ac
Also girls and boys ratio is not same in every class As in some section boys are more but in some sections girls are more
College is good but the main problem is hostel timming as no pne can go out after 10pm from college campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching method is same as schools but the main yhing is the practical knowledge.Some teachers give better practical knowledge but some dont give.As Cse have a lots of coding but in first semester you will not find any computer practical but you will find practical of wooden workshop and welding metals

Internships Opportunities

Every year many companies visit the college for students who are interested in doing internships in various courses or industries such as IT departments, management side,online internships about marketing and branding,internships in machine learning etc. College provide quite nice internships through different companies globally

Placement Experience

Most of students apply for campus placements but some didn't apply as they get better knowledge during internship or they choose offside internships and placements. But many of mu seniors got placed this year and one of the semior got package of 14 LPA which is quite nice as fresher

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester tuition fees is like between 66000 to 70000 depending upon events and exams but average tuition fees is around 67000 per semester. College campus is quite big and nice.Hostel facilities are also good as their are 4 boys hostel and a girls hostel.hostel fees may vary from 110000 to 150000 depending upon hostel tou selected like their are many rooms available as 2 seater,3seater and 4 seater in which we get option for Ac/non Ac. Total fees for course will be around 540000 and if you also opt for hostel it is around 1150000 for whole course

Campus Life

Campus ilife here is amazing as this college lies in region pf punjab and here every festival is celebrated amazingly.Also many college events happens weekly. Every month a celebrity comes in college and every week college course events happen like bgmi,chess,photography,coding,hack the code etc.

Hostel Facilities

As i am living in hostel i feel that hostel lofe is nice and the best.Some of my friens living in PG finds their pg boring because in pg no one cares about anyone and no one talk to each other but in hostel everyone is friendly and is yoi by chance get sick in hostel,their is medical staff and many elders to take care to you but in PG you will not find any medical staff

I choosed this college beacuse i wanted to live in hostel eather then home beacuse i wanted to enjoy college as well as hostel life. I visited many colleges in greater noida but they were too expensive and not providing better facilities,so i find put about Cgc landran and this was in our budget so we decided this college

Faculty

In every semester their will be two mid term exams of 24 marks each in which passing marks is 10 for each subject. From the 2 mid sem exams average internal marks will be counted. And final exam of PTU will held at end semester which will be of 60 marks which have passing criteria of 25 marks in each subject and rest internal marks and final marks will decide cgpa

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Gym is provided but only for name, no fame , always full

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I applied for thappar university, patiala but on basis of my jee mains result they offers me mechanical branch in which I was not interested. My jee mains percentile was 86. The fees structure of these college was less as compared to other colleges and it provides better knowledge and have good infrastructure as compared to others college that's why i choose these college on others. Honest ???? review

I am choosing this college because for engineering degree many colleges asked for our jee score and I'm not given my jee exam due to not having preparation of syllabus and on that time there is criteria of 75% above for applied for filling the jee examination. And I'm not fulfilled this. So that's why I need one best private college for my bachelor's which is fit for according to there academics, placements, campus environment, etc overall good . So I find this is good. There are so many others private colleges are there but there fees are not budget friendly for any middle class student. In CGC College of engineering there you can take admission by two methods :- 1)One is through ptu councelling:- if u are take admission through ptu councelling then there is relaxation in fees then ur academic fees is around 20,000 l/sem. 2) other one is through direct admission. There is no specific criteria but you have to score 70% above then you can get admission in any stream that you have to desire.
