The placement of the college is good. But all it depends upon the students capabilities how they perform in the PI TI AND Gd session. The college has a TPP department which specifically focus on these field ans chargee 10 thousand once in 3rd sem only. Various MNCs do visit the college including the major ones like google amazon Microsoft and more The placement ratio vary accordingly.

The hostel is not so much good. Specially talking about the food and menu the things goes on repeatedly which slowly getting frustrating . But if you can manage yourself with the food then it might be okay. However, for more comfort, students often opt for rented accommodations nearby, where they have more independence and the ability to cook their own meals. Both options come with their pros and cons, but overall, it depends on personal preferences

CGC Landran offers ample opportunities for students to gain industry experience through internships. While on-campus opportunities are available, off-campus internships through industry tie-ups are more common and provide a broader exposure to the professional world. The college’s placement and training cell plays a crucial role in securing these internships and guiding students throughout the process.

The college has a average ratio for both boys and girls. Though the male ratio is higher as comparison to girls. The teachers may or may not he good depending upon thier nature and your relation with them. All you have to do is to maintain a good relation to score well and get attendence properly. Talking about the exams thiwr are 2 semester exams conducted in nov and April mostly affiliated by PTU . And also their are various class test and 2 mid semester test per sem.

Interview Experience

4

No there is no admission test for admission nor any gd or interview. Admission was granted based on 12th board exam scores. Students needed a background in Science (PCM/PCMB) with a good percentage in Mathematics and Physics. Some students also applied through JEE Main scores, but it was not mandatory.

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.
