The curriculum was really great this had to Be one of the main reasons why I joined, the college exams are very frequent and it may be because it is a medical school and it's level of 6 to 10 in difficultly

I always wanted to pursue MBBS and Im grateful to have achieved that goal so ofcourse those comes with hardships the studying and curriculum. The exams are scheduled properly they provide proper study leave before major exams and with proper time management the curriculum won't be so difficult.

Campus placement here refers to means as doctors you will get into somewhere no matter what moreover you can join as a Junior Doctor right after your intership into your own College Hospital. Highest salary depends on the individiual doctor and almost every doctors gets into somewhere decent enough as far as I have seen like my Senior. My plan is to get into broad specialty ASAP that's basically a govt. Seat for MD & most likely Clinical Seat only.

MBBS was always my dream course. SMIMS has the highest faculty: student ratio as much as I have read about. All the faculties have specialization in their field, Mostly MD, DM, Ph.D., and also MBBS. We usually have 2 sessional exams, 1 pre-University and 1 University exam in a year, and many small formative assessments and tests throughout the year. It is quite easy to pass those exams if one is really dedicated to studies.

There was no factors as such, we were alloted the college depending on our marks and reservations by sikkim govt. itself. However, talking about the college,our college is nice both academically and extra curicular activities wise as well. And as for opting this course is because it was and is that I have always aspired to become a good doctor.

It's one of the best institutions to pursue your medical profession with so much good infrastructure and lab facilities for the students to learn. And yes we have our own hospital so that we can practice our medical profession.

My overall experience in the campus is quite good. According to me, there are some aspects on which the college can work upon or should improve. Gender discrimination in case of curfews should be taken care of. The college should provide a good platform for the student-alumni interaction. Food quality could do with a lot of improvement.
