Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was really great this had to Be one of the main reasons why I joined, the college exams are very frequent and it may be because it is a medical school and it's level of 6 to 10 in difficultly
Internships Opportunities
Since we were in a medical college, the placement is said to be 100% so the college does not provide extra placements and we get to do a lot of research work and we get a lot of budget for it. Overall it's a very good experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees that I pay for the college are 1800000 lakhs per year, it can be paid in instalment (they take interest in case of installment payments) ; the fees are okay for a private medical college The fees are same for students except the ones receiving government scholarship The students from Sikkim itself can opt for the state scholarship while the students from outside Sikkim can opt for the central scholarship
Campus Life
There are many clubs almost 5 clubs in our college, which include the cultural academic sports mess and magazine committees. You can have club activities, but your personal life will be a little less.
Hostel Facilities
24 seven electricity is provided along with 24 seven water. There is so much problems in the room except space because there are three people in a single hostel room. The food here is not really great in the mess, but the food outside of mess is really good, the hostel is affordable compared to other PG and rooms around the college
Admission
I really didn't apply for other colleges Except this one and the admission process goes like you have to have a counselling beforehand outside the college after which you are called to the college and may be a fee of ?1000 for your admissions and then you get it to the college
Faculty
The facilities from the first year mbbs are really very nice ; they feel like parents to me; the faculty from second year are very caring and stern at the same time; you can tell that everyone here wants the best for you and are rooting for you to succeed in life
