The faculty are hardworking and approachable.
The classrooms are spacious and fully furnished
There are many other activities other than academic

Dislikes

We don’t have a football ground and swimming pool
We get very few to no holidays and vacations
The 8-5 schedule is very tiring and exhausting

The college campus is nice and serene , I love that I feel like home even though I’m far from my actual home
The food is actually very affordable and nice
The friends I made here are the best of friends I’ve ever met

Dislikes

The schedule is too hectic even for a medico
The hostel room is too crowded even though a large sum is being paid
You don’t get time for your private life

I like the infrastructure of the college
the environment and the lecture halls are pretty nice
the teachings the faculty is also nice and hardworking

Dislikes

I dislike that we do not have a swimming pool in the campus
the hostel mess food is quite on the bad side
there should be a volleyball court too for the students

I always wanted to pursue MBBS and Im grateful to have achieved that goal so ofcourse those comes with hardships the studying and curriculum. The exams are scheduled properly they provide proper study leave before major exams and with proper time management the curriculum won't be so difficult.

Unveiling the Essence of My College Experience

Likes

Weather is really nice specially for people who can't tolerate heat and who are more familiar to cold places
People out there are friendly and cooperative compare to other places of the country
Life is slow out there since it's a small place surrounded by Mountains so one of the best place for vacation with families & friends

Dislikes

The food items and other items are expensive compare to other neighbouring states specially in restaurants.
Very limited things are available for everything like from basic everyday items vice-versa to other essential items

Placement Experience:

Campus placement here refers to means as doctors you will get into somewhere no matter what moreover you can join as a Junior Doctor right after your intership into your own College Hospital. Highest salary depends on the individiual doctor and almost every doctors gets into somewhere decent enough as far as I have seen like my Senior. My plan is to get into broad specialty ASAP that's basically a govt. Seat for MD & most likely Clinical Seat only.

The campus is very wide and good.the university consists of canteens and alot of good facilities too
The main building is huge and also the library consists of many computers with wifi
The teachers are very intellectual and the non teaching staffs are also very soft spoken

Dislikes

Some partiality between mbbs and normal students
Some of the food in the canteen is quite unhealthy
Ofher thing is all right and manageable also

Likes

This university have very good environment where we cant find many green tress, flowers in the garden
This university have very good medical facilities for the student they have provided free medical check up
This university have quality and facilities like wifi ,digital library, labs, some class room are very clean

Dislikes

I don't like the some people who don't talk to other people properly and the some of the class room are not good
This university do provide wifi but can't connected individually and the hostel food is not good enough as i was told before
They should provide extra parking area for the student because we are facing difficult to park our vehicles and the incinerator

Despite being a private college, the administration is very strict about the academics
College is very research oriented and encourages students at every stage
College conducts all kind of fests all throughout the year

Dislikes

Being on hilly area there is some accessibility issues particularly in winter and monsoon season
The college is pretty strict about the attendance and there is serious repercussions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS was always my dream course. SMIMS has the highest faculty: student ratio as much as I have read about. All the faculties have specialization in their field, Mostly MD, DM, Ph.D., and also MBBS. We usually have 2 sessional exams, 1 pre-University and 1 University exam in a year, and many small formative assessments and tests throughout the year. It is quite easy to pass those exams if one is really dedicated to studies.
