What Students Say

Likes

The campus is very wide and good.the university consists of canteens and alot of good facilities too
The main building is huge and also the library consists of many computers with wifi
The teachers are very intellectual and the non teaching staffs are also very soft spoken

Dislikes

Some partiality between mbbs and normal students
Some of the food in the canteen is quite unhealthy
Ofher thing is all right and manageable also

I chose the course as it had many opportunities in future and also made a great impact in the medical field We get clinical postings which helps us in better ways The exams are done in a proper way with good timing

Class Size: 17Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees has not increased after i joined the college and it is quite reasonable.the scholarship we get to apply is nsp the complete amount of my fees is around 2 lakhs till i finish my course which is very reasonable

Campus Life

The events are held quite oftenly and the events are like hustle sports event,diwali nights,AURA the biggest event,college day and many more We get to play all the sports in the campus itself it consists of indoor and outdoor

Admission

The eligibility was 60% and above We get the application form in google smims.smu.com.the merit list is baser on the marks obtained.the exams in this course in not that hard but you need to study and ya overall its good

Faculty

The teaching faculty is has many variations and of course this helps us understanding it in a more better way.the faculty makes sure that the students have picked up the specific topic and learned by heart.and the interaction is also done quite oftenly

My College Review

Fees and Financial Aid:

64500 is the semester fee , and with scholarship it's 50000 per semester, and with bus fee it is total of 65000. And scholarship is applicable above 70% and around total of 1,000,00 is paid. And with COI in Sikkim it's about 25% scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-Chemistry is a fun subject which applies both pratical and theoretical aspect of learning.Its easy to grasp the context of you have good visualisation and listening ability -Lets face is Natural sciences in Bachelor's won't really prepare you for anything except your masters degree, which you will have to appear in NET for anyways -The course curriculum could be much more simplified and linear, it is extremely difficult to find any material online to study, hence if you miss a few classes your are doomed. Visual learning and more infrastructure would be much more appreciated -in my opinion the exams are way too frequent as mentioned before 3 exams per semester= 18 exams for your 3 year B.Sc course Keep in mind is is pre NEP -

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As currently I'm at 3rd semester I don't have idea about placements and all. The only thing I know is that if you have excellence academic performance you will get great placement which is other word you can say students with high performance in their course will get great placements.
