Entrance Preview

I gave SMU entrance exam and scored 78 percent. After which recieved a call letter and went through counselling process for admission.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they provide internship, the general stipend is 8000 a month and the overall learning experience in internship was a boost to the career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees Structure. The following fees schedule is applicable for candidates seeking new admission during the academic year 2016-17 Application Fees (one time) INR 1,500, Admission Fees (one time) INR 15,000, Semester Fees (per semester) INR 40,750. The one-time Application Fee is to be paid at the time of submitting the Online Application Form, or before the completed Application Form is couriered to BITS Pilani.

Exam Structure

To get a Certificate you must successfully pass the Foundation Exam administered by your National or Regional Board or Examination Provider. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be issued with an ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate, which is internationally recognised.

Admission

I got the admission form downloaded from SMU official website and the administration is smooth and spontaneous. They have very helpful supporting staff. The notification got released on the admission website a month prior in advance. Students also receive phone calls for the admission and a detailed information is given to the students by counselling team.

Faculty

Faculty of my college was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They were well versed with the courses and all were well trained professionals. If you have any doubts on any of the topic, you can walk up to them personally and get help. I must say they were awesome.

My College Review

Fees and Financial Aid:

64500 is the semester fee , and with scholarship it's 50000 per semester, and with bus fee it is total of 65000. And scholarship is applicable above 70% and around total of 1,000,00 is paid. And with COI in Sikkim it's about 25% scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-Chemistry is a fun subject which applies both pratical and theoretical aspect of learning.Its easy to grasp the context of you have good visualisation and listening ability -Lets face is Natural sciences in Bachelor's won't really prepare you for anything except your masters degree, which you will have to appear in NET for anyways -The course curriculum could be much more simplified and linear, it is extremely difficult to find any material online to study, hence if you miss a few classes your are doomed. Visual learning and more infrastructure would be much more appreciated -in my opinion the exams are way too frequent as mentioned before 3 exams per semester= 18 exams for your 3 year B.Sc course Keep in mind is is pre NEP -

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As currently I'm at 3rd semester I don't have idea about placements and all. The only thing I know is that if you have excellence academic performance you will get great placement which is other word you can say students with high performance in their course will get great placements.

I was selected in for Downtown university but for my personal ease i choose to study in SMIT. No i was not being rejecte form any colleges.
