Likes
- Collage is Situated in a very beautifl location . its very peaceful and very beautiful , Teachers are Quite nice and are helping us with our studies out of their designates time .
- Not in a good or bad way campus of more of a more traditional style of providing noted like note books and copies use of smart board is comparetively less .
Dislikes
- Some of the HOD's are not soo friendly . Pressure is more than other collages becz there are more tests conducted and within short duration unlike other collages .
- Hostel food and wifi is not worth paying 85K .. but 1st years are not given a option to opt out for that option but most of the seniors generally opt out of MES because it is not worth the money and is Expansive also .
- Fro 2nd year many prefer to have their food self prepared or outside the Collage Gate where it is cheaper with good food .
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are Difficult and exams are more Frequently conducted . Otherwise Teachers are great and their Explanation are also great . Labs are going great with regular Viva for chemistry lab . But for some of us we are facing issues for maths

Placement Experience
The overall placement rate was around 90% the highest offered to passout student was INR 35 LPA furthermore The SMIT Average package stood at inr 6 LPA . We have Training and placement cell at sikkim manipal institute of technology to facilitate placement oppurtunities.

* Fee Structure for General Class (No Scholarship) 1 year:- 345000 * For Students from Sikkim they get special Sikkim scholarship which reduces the total Tutuion fee by 50% * There are multiple scholarships provided to students based on Govt schemes , Jee Results , CBSE Boards Reasults and many more
Campus Life
overall campus experience is great with many events and extra curriculums going on students are having fun along with studying. Libraries are great and regular events and workshops are held buy senior students and speclists .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is great with good rooms and with safety security and Anti ragging measures . we can submit complaints of any issues in hostel and the actions are taken on a quick notice . no such issue faced till now in hostel .
Admission
This collage is because it is nearer to my home, living expenditure are less and traveling costs is also less. The environment and landscape are good along with the beautiful weather. And the people from sikkim are also very nice and friendly .
Faculty
Exams:- we have 2 Quizzes 2 sessional exams and 1 final sem exam for 1 sem. From 1 quiz is of 10 marks and from that 10 marks 5 marks are added to the internal, from 1 sessional exam which is conducted for 50 marks we have added 15 marks in the internal if we score 50/50. and to pass the End Sem exam we have to score 35 marks min to pass it, in 1st year we have to score 35 in theory in the final sem exam to pass which does not include int internals. but from the 2nd sem including internal, we have to score 35 marks in the final sem to qualify.
