Review for Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences

I always wanted to pursue MBBS and Im grateful to have achieved that goal so ofcourse those comes with hardships the studying and curriculum. The exams are scheduled properly they provide proper study leave before major exams and with proper time management the curriculum won't be so difficult.

Internships usually last for about 6-8 months according to my knowledge and we will be posted in various departments every month according to our registration numbers. I guess the monthly stipend is about 15-16000

Course fee:1700000 for all years hostel fee :41000 mess fee: 92000 scholarships are provided by the government according to merit and reservation basis for students of the same state In 2021 batch : 100students are from the state while 50 from out of state

There are various festivals such as food festival: Ziaka, cultural fest: Aura, sports festival: Hustle and many more like Tyohar . There are no such clubs . The Library consists of all the books required in the curriculum. We can borrow it anytime we want for a period of 27-28 days . There's a wifi provision in the campus too

I live in a room nearby the college, I stayed in the college hostel for the first 2 years of college and it is pretty decent the only reason why i left it was because of mess food, otherwise the hostel has many advantages over rooms outside.But there are several pg's and rooms available around the campus which can be opted for too

Reservations were available for this college, The college was nearby my home town, very safe and the environment the surroundings were pretty good so it was the best university for me with my neet score.

The faculty number is quite sufficient for the number of students, while some departments might have more faculty such as community medicine and the others such as Forensic medicine has lesser faculty.
