The Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) is a private university established by the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016. Sankalchand Patel University Admissions
For Undergraduate courses:
- Most of the under-graduate courses like B.Com., B.Sc., BDS, B.Pharm., BBA, BCA, etc offered by the university take the admission of the candidate to its colleges on merit basis. Merit-list will be prepared by the university authority which is primarily based on the scores of the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.
- However, for B.Tech. the course admission process includes a scorecard of the candidate obtained from the GUJCET examination. Merit-list for the same will be prepared accordingly by the university administrative committee.
For Postgraduate courses:

For Doctoral Courses:
- Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) offers a Doctoral program in almost all the specializations ranging from technical to medical and management sectors. Admission to the University in the Ph.D. program is based on the entrance test organized by the University itself, followed by the interview process.

Common Admission process for almost all the courses:
- Candidates need to apply for this course in the offline or online mode by filling the application (available on the website and in the college admission office) and submitting the same to the administrative department of the college before the due date to avoid disqualification.
