Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

The current cbme pattern or curriculum needs a lot of changes and it is not at all student friendly. It focuses more on theoretical concepts than practical and i think mbbs demands more of practical knowledge like talking to real patients and asking them about their problems ( taking history) followed by their treatment respectively.

Campus internship opportunities and stipend

Internship in mbbs is for 1 year with 4 major postings with a duration of 1 month in medicine surgery obs gynae and pedia while in rest there is minor postings for 15 days. You have to sit in opd and take patient history and then take him or her to the consultant for treatment or whatever. Stipend is rupees 5000 per month

What are the placement opportunities in the college and average package?

In MBBS wherever you go in India you can't be unemployed they will give you job because there is so scarcity of doctors in our country . Average package offered to mbbs graduate is 10-12 lacs per annum or even more than that sometimes.

Yearly fees structure of the course and scholarship

For the first year fees was 13.22lac and for the 2nd ,3rd year it was 10.87lac and at the last year it is 7.65 lac. For my batch 2020, Tuition fees-10.67 lac Hostel fee( ac hostel)- 175000 Miscellaneous fees- 80000 Caution money- 3 lacs one time For the batch 2023-24, Tuition fees -11,21,162 Hostel fees( ac hostel)-175000 Miscellaneous fees-85600 per year Caution money- 3 lacs one time No scholarship or merit or financial aids for the students

Various events and infrastructure of the campus

Annual programme of name synapse is held every year around Christmas. Ganesh chaturthi and Saraswati pooja are other festivals celebrated here. Library is good and has many books and journals. The LTs are equipped with AC . Extracurricular activities are minimal in our college and very less tournaments are held of sports . There are no students club of any sort

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

Hostel is automatically alloted while the admission process in the college. There are nice rooms equipped with air conditioners with attached bathroom.In every room 2 students reside . The main disappointment lies in the hostel food which is very bad and unpalatable. Hostel is situated in the college itself

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

Students are obviously greater in number 150 and faculty are 3 4 average in every department. Each professor in every department is helpful and always polite whenever we have doubts we go and ask them and they explain us very nicely. There are 2 internals or terminal exams and per university exam before the main professional exam in which many students suffer and fail .

What is the admission process of the college?

I entered Hind medical college as my first option and second option i opted for was Mayo institute. I couldn't get hind because there the cut off was higher so i landed up in this college . All the documents which are listed in upneet.gov.in are necessary while the counselling process or admission process

Admission:

I have apply to the college because in the government website of UP board it has they told me that the college fees is less than 60 lakh but after entering into the college the fees as become like more than 65 lakh and we have to give extra 60000 for is University exam. No I have not been rejected from the other college as I have not given any other preference after seeing the college with less than 60 lakh rupees as I am from a very poor family. The admission process of the college is very fixed you have deposit the money then only you will get admittion in the college . You have to give neet exam and score and decent amount of score to get in the college. For this college in my order cut off has gone to 296 marks out of 720 in NEET.

Likes

College campus is good. Looks nice. Basic amenities are good.

Dislikes

Management is too much strict with fhe student
College campus is small but good. But situated at a distant place
Students are not allowed to go out on days other than thursday and sunday

Admission:

For MBBS you need to apply for NEET. Eligibility for the course is available at the nta site. Everything including application form fee and dates are also available at nta along with reservation benefits. Entrance exam is held once per year. But the admission process is a bit confusing

Admission:

You should be 12 th pass atleeast with 50% marks in pcb . Application form detail are found in up medical site. Neet exam is being conducted for admission . Cut for mims is 373 last year. There is no reservation in private college

The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, or any other elective subjects with English. The fee per year for the BSc in Nursing is approximately INR 72,000.

The college offers MBBS, MD/ MS, B.Sc Nursing, ANM and GNM courses.

Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences accepts the score in NEET UG for admission to MBBS.
Candidates with 10+2 in PCB with an aggregate of 50% Marks are eligible for MBBS at the Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences.
Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences Admission to MD/ MS, is based on the score in NEET PG.
Candidates must have an MBBS with a compulsory one-year rotatory internship certificate for admission to MD/ MS.
Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences also offers admission to BSc Nursing and ANM and GNM courses in the Nursing field.

The Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, conducts counseling for State-Level Quota Seats. Medical Council Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling for All India Quota seats.

The admission for BSc Nursing is based on the marks obtained in the 10^th, and 12^th examinations. There is no entrance exam for the BSs course at MIMS Barabanki.
