Curriculum is based on NMC guidelines which include mostly clinic knowledge according to competency cleared so highly focus on how to treat patients aetcom based which is a better change for students . But attendance criteria I don't like .it should depend on students how to learn new skills

The curriculum suggesteg by the national medical council is strictly followed in the Lady Hardinge Medical College and hospital and the curriculum is quite student friendly The clinical postings start from the decision year itself which makes your interest for the subject grow even more . Your final year subjects also start from the second year itself. What I'll like to suggest is there must be more if small group discussions and interactive sessions. The exams are moderately difficult. There are two term examination , one sent ups and then finally one professional examinations ( finals) each year . You need to get through all to reach the final year

As the curriculum is well organised and implemented as well. After completing one unit of each subject the exams are conducted as class test. We have postings in our 2nd year.We go to wards and observe patients. One thing that should be improved is teaching method. It should not be only slide reading rather it should be interactive one.

MBBS definitely being taught in our college is preparing me for facing real life situations , we get posted in different departments for learning on how to take history from patients, how to interact , counsel them and manage cases. i have always wanted to be a doc so i think this is very helpful. i think this sometimes gets too cumbersome and tough on long run, i think if we were given a more relaxed schedule it would have been good for everyone's mental health as it would have been less hectic. every week we get exmas in form of small tests which test our ability on what we've learnt.

It is an all-girls college with a batch strength of 240. It is one of the top medical colleges in the country and is situated in central Delhi it has the best location among all the medical colleges in Delhi. All the faculty here are the best in their fields and are very dedicated. Exams are given importance here you will have to give term 1, term 2, pre- proffs/ sent ups and then the final exams called proffs to be promoted to next year

MBBS is one of the best ways to serve mankind The ratio is pretty good it is 1:40 Soo each and every faculty of the different departments are MD MS DNB or even higher Have had fellowship programmes and actively participated in the research work with the students So about the term exams, it depends on the semester in the 1st proff the term exams are every about 3 to 4 months In 2nd proffs 3 months
The curriculum has been revised in 2019 and the new curriculum (CBME: Competency-Based Medical Education) is all about patient-based approach and clinical approach which is very amazing since that's how we'll be dealing with patients in real life. The faculty of Lady Hardinge is amazing as long as you're willing to learn. The practical sessions especially are the best since you get to see everything you've learnt in theory. The syllabus is very vast and it's very difficult but you can do fairly well if you go through it consistently. The term exams are held before each semester and after every year you need to give professional exams also known as 'proffs'. You'll have to pass the proffs in order to be promoted to next year which is very easy if you have a grip on the basics.
I wanted to become a doctor and serve people also to make my parents proud I chose this course. The faculty: students ratio is good. Always helpful and supportive. So they are available when needed. Faculties are mostly senior residents and H.O.D's they are very helpful and teach us very well. Term exam comes after almost 2 months. It was not much difficult to pass.
I want to be the best Doctor, I chose this profession as I want to serve in that area where the health infrastructure is very poor & people can't afford basic health facilities. In our college, there is a variety of faculties, besides professors & assistant professors, senior residents & pg students also take classes with ug students & there are various small group sessions are conducted in which faculty: the student ratio is 1:8. All the members of are faculties are mbbs graduates & have done masters in their courses. The basic way of teaching is by ppt presentation & sometimes interactive sessions are also held. We have 2 term examination,1 setup exam & 1 proff exam each year & except these, there are formative assessments. As you are in a prestigious course & prestigious college so the level of exam is very high but with the continuous efforts & studies, they are easy to crack. some students have supplementary in some subjects & some get fail too but eventually, they pass with good marks
