Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to pursue mbbs as it was my field of interest. Here faculty:student ratio is good. All the faculties are well qualified from very well known medical colleges of Delhi and other states. Term exams are held regularly thus helping us to cope up with the pressure. It is quite difficult to pass mbbs as it has a vast syllabus but faculty is always there to help us.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 1655 per year

Internships Opportunities

Doing mbbs from a government medical college itself opens up so many opportunities for us. 1 year of internship is compulsory for mbbs students. They get a stipend of around 25000. Internship itself exposes students to acquire so many skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

As LHMC is central government medical college, the fee structure is quite affordable. Fees is just Rs. 1655 per year which makes it affordable for everyone. Here we get various opportunities for scholarship to those who need it.

We have two fests in our college- Intercollege fest is SPLASH and Intracollege fest is COBWEB. There is availability of all medical books and journals in our library with a subscription of ELSEVIER. There are modern lecture theatres and modular practical labs. There are various societies in our college Dance society VIOLA Music Society AAROHANA Fashion Society BELLEZA

Exam- NEET ELIGIBILITY- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Application form is released on nta official website.

My Honest review of VMMC Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Academics is great and the labs are well maintained. All the pgs, Srs and professors are helpful. Projectors are there for teaching purposes. Exams held on weekly/monthly basis for better understanding of subjects and preparation of final examination.

Experience of our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

A good quality and thorough training

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

A nice yet small college in delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

The curriculum is standardised and is same in all medical Colleges , one has to self study because not everything can be taught in class Teaching methods are good and course is completed in time Frequency and timing of exams are apt and not hectic except first few months, they are quite easy to pass

Earning

This college was by far the best amongst the other colleges. Eduaction wise it is very top tier with less fees. The fee system is very affordable. NEET exam should be given by the students and usually the cut offs are 680+ for general students. For admission we are told to visit the college with our documents .
