This college is amongst the best medical colleges in india which made me opt for this college. Also helps with personal growth as there are many socities you can join in which helps in developing your personality and talents. The exams are held in every 2.5 months with frequent minor tests in between. Since the course is very volatile we need constant studying in our daily life. The course if very hectic

No fridge and acs are allowed in the room but you can get yourselg a cooler also each room has a ceiling fan and no personal bathroom availabe but during first year a room is shared by 3 students and 1 bathroom is shared by 2 rooms During 2-3 year 1 room is shared by 2 students with common bathroom shared in 1 floor The food available is fine. With meat given 2 a week Hostel are only given to those residing far away from the college The college is located in Connaught place

Admission

This college was by far the best amongst the other colleges. Eduaction wise it is very top tier with less fees. The fee system is very affordable. NEET exam should be given by the students and usually the cut offs are 680+ for general students. For admission we are told to visit the college with our documents . The fees are need to be cleared and the documents are to be submitted for security reasons No i did get rejected to any other colleges.

Faculty

3

Our course is of 4.6 years and for the first term we had 2 terms exams, 1 sent up exam and final exam. In between there were minor tests as well For the exams we have both theory and practical followed by viva. The faculty members are very good. For each subjects we have around 25-30 faculty members which is very helpful. Some are very strict while the others are chill enough. They encourage us to approach them during any doubts but are not allowed to interrupt them between the classes. The exams are set well and if studied well we will score good marks. The annual exam is cleared by majority of the students only handful of students fail to pass the exam

Lady Hardinge Medical College - [LHMC], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Reviewed on Oct 26, 2022(Enrolled 2019)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has been revised in 2019 and the new curriculum (CBME: Competency-Based Medical Education) is all about patient-based approach and clinical approach which is very amazing since that's how we'll be dealing with patients in real life. The faculty of Lady Hardinge is amazing as long as you're willing to learn. The practical sessions especially are the best since you get to see everything you've learnt in theory. The syllabus is very vast and it's very difficult but you can do fairly well if you go through it consistently. The term exams are held before each semester and after every year you need to give professional exams also known as 'proffs'. You'll have to pass the proffs in order to be promoted to next year which is very easy if you have a grip on the basics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college has 4 to 5 permanent faculties and 2 faculty from the base hospital Delhi Cantt. in each department. That is 1 teacher for approx 15 students. The teachers are all super specialised in their respective fields and mostly all are very efficient in teaching while following the latest MCI guidelines. there are a total of 4 exams a student has to give mid-term, end terms, pre-proof and proofs. The exams are all designed to ensure that the passing students are eligible to be called doctors but not so tough as to fail a lot of students. An average result has about 15 fails in 100 students

Remarks:

I did my MBBS from NDMC Medical College which was worth it. The college has great education system with a good faculty and nice campus with a green cover. The college has a hostel but it is not as good so I would recommend staying outside campus. The training programmes and practicals bring in depth to studying at this college.

Remarks:

There is no negative news about this college, everything is best here. Few points on aiims -*College management is also perfect. *Faculty members never tried to shun their responsibilities with respect to teaching, research and patient care. Senior students were required to teach their juniors on a regular basis, even in OT's (operation theatre). *Get together were organised during celebrations of important festivals which included admitted patients. All religions were given importance.
