Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum suggesteg by the national medical council is strictly followed in the Lady Hardinge Medical College and hospital and the curriculum is quite student friendly The clinical postings start from the decision year itself which makes your interest for the subject grow even more . Your final year subjects also start from the second year itself. What I'll like to suggest is there must be more if small group discussions and interactive sessions. The exams are moderately difficult. There are two term examination , one sent ups and then finally one professional examinations ( finals) each year . You need to get through all to reach the final year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

After the completion of the final year, internship starts . One year internship is there and the stipend is 30,000 per month. The internship is held in the Lady Hardinge Hospital and Kalawati Hospital. No private company offers internship as the internship is a part of the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite affordable Exam fees -2310 Nss fund of University -20 Cultural Council Fees -10 Literacy fees -5 Insurence -10 Library -10 Sports -50 Fan -16 Games -35 Laboratory -50 Hostel -294 There is no scholarship as such because fees is too low

Campus Life

3.5

The social life is the Lady Hardinge Medical College is quite happening , as the college is well connected to all the other medical and non medical colleges. Their is an intercollege annual fest Splash which is held every year, and is a four day fest with concerts and completion between all the medical and non medical colleges in Delhi Apart form the fest , other functions like Dandiya Night, Hostel Day , Janamashtami is also celebrated in the campus The college societies in Hardinge are very active and events are being conducted throughout the year

Faculty

3

The facilities are very good, they are very much experienced, and thus they teach really good. Along with lectures , they also take you to clinics for better understanding of the things taught in classes, which is the best part. The students to teacher ratio is also quite good. You can interact directly with the professors, or if you with you can also talk to senior residents , junior residents and post graduates

I want to serve the community so I choose this course , it allows me to heal the people and to help them , And i m the first generation doctor in my family ,so also much happy by choosing this course , and now u can give advice to your parents for opting the healthy habits and lifestyle modifications leading them to love a healthy life . The thing I want to improve in the curriculum is that it should be interacting,, not like that teacher ask and student answer ,, firstly teacher should explain everything about the chapter in a brief manner and then show the presentation and after that he/ she ask the students what they learn ,, what they don't understand and all
