I liked food very well in my college ...
I liked the nature and atmosphere in our college
I liked the speech given by our directors

Dislikes

I didnt like the facilities of sports ,games,labs exams
I didnt like the special food in mess during fests
I didnt like the medical rooms and wardens in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because, at present days computer science is easy and CSE branch is in huge demand in present days and the faculty is not up to mark as expected from the college, the qualification for faculty is already phd.

Absolutely good

Likes

Campus nature, food, sports, girls, faculty
The faculty is friendly and having an oat open air theater
The greenary of the campus is the wonderful peace of the studnet

Dislikes

Timings of the sleep and the wake up amd the college timings are bad
Mess timings are also bad when compared to hostel and collge
Have more security is offensove for studnets they cant be fee

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit to take the best part of the students where the above 7cgpa students have the well and good career while at the time of placement and the viewers had the next opportunity to get placed abroad to get more package.

IIIT KOTTAYAM AN EXPERIENCE TO BEHOLD

Likes

Climate: The weather is almost perfect here not too hot nor too cold.

Dislikes

The formality: The paper work and signatures required when we want to go out or go for leave is always annoying
Food: Food quality needs to be improved and more diversity is appreciated

Placement Experience:

Seniors said that they are sitting for placements in the final year and preparations are made from 3rd year. The on-campus placement happens very often. TCS, Infosys, etc. International companies like NVidia also came for placement. 92% of students got placed in 2023. I plan to sit for placement after Btech.

A Beautiful review about my College

Likes

The most beautiful things that I liked in my college is that the nature, infrastructure

Dislikes

There's nothing that I disliked in my college. Placements is currently a bit weak here that may be one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fine. It's good and can manage both academics and sports. Faculty members are so kind and good. As I said in my preference order I gave CSE as my choice but I got only ECE anyway I like electronics. Faculties here have doctorate degree along with some specialization. Exams. There are 2 mid-semester exams each for 50 marks and 1 End semester exam for 100 marks along with some courses have lab.

MY awesome college

Likes

We have the best environment around our college, it is surrounded with green plants and trees
The campus life is well, we can evolve into lot of things to enjoy here
Our placements, faculty, infrastructure are very cool to maintain

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements, we have big companies like, Infosys, Tata, tech M, and all, we have 58 lakhs highest package, and the average package is 12-14 lakhs, we have 85% placement percentage, I plan to achieve a good amount of package and then, I want to do ms in abroad

Special food for some occasions is really good

College mess food was one the worst food in the world
We are paying huge amount of fees and facilities are not at all good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because at present situation, CSE is in huge demand. Faculty and students are from different places throughout India, some are teaching well, but some are not PhD is the minimum qualification for a teacher. The terms were not too difficult but we managed to pass them

Likes

Placements: average placement of 14 lpa.
Coding culture:provide great coding culture.
Seniors:a good bunch of seniors who provide great connections.

Dislikes

High fees structure. no fee waivers.
Very strict academics..and relative grading.
Back to back exams of two mid sems..and one sem exam.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year that is after 6, the sem students can sit for placements more than 200 companies visit every year. Highest =58.9 lpa, Avg =13 lpa. 2023-23 campus bagged a 100 percent placement. We have on-campus and off-campus placements.

Mess food is not so good. You won't like it much in the beginning.

Placement Experience:

Students get internship opportunities in the third year, and then they are eligible for placements. Many companies including Amazon, Deloitte, Bosch, Nvidia, etc. visit here for placements. You can also refer to the official website of IIIT Kottayam for more details. The highest package is around 59 Lacs, while the average is 14 Lacs. Almost 90-95 % of the students get placed easily. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue higher studies.

The thing I loved the most about this college is , in first year they teach us web development along with programming, which is not done any other colleges except a few
Our college location has a vibrant charm.Our college is surrounded by green hills
coding culture and seniors support

Dislikes

Mess food is not suitable for south indian taste
limited sports

Placement Experience:

Our college students have very good placements, with the highest package of 58.93LPA and an average package of 13.90LPA. For a newly established college, it is a good figure. Our college students have internship drives at the start of the third year and placement drives at the end of the third year and throughout the fourth year.
