IIT Goa Scholarships 2025
IIT Goa supports its UG students financially through three main schemes—MCM, FM, and RoF. For MCM, 25% of the sanctioned UG intake is eligible based on academic merit (CPI/JEE rank) and parental income. Students scoring high and earning under INR 4.5 lakh/year can receive up to INR 8,000 annually and a full tuition waiver.
FM is specially for SC/ST students with similar income criteria. It offers INR 2,000 annually, free meals (basic menu), and no hostel rent charges. These students can also combine FM with other scholarships unless benefits overlap.
RoF helps make education more accessible by lowering tuition fees. Students from SC, ST, or PH categories get a full fee waiver. If a student’s family earns less than INR 1 lakh a year, they don’t have to pay any tuition fees. Those with family incomes between INR 1–5 lakh per year get about 66% off. All applications are carefully reviewed by the SSPAC team and approved by the Director before the support is given.
