relevance to industry: the curriculum is regularly updated to ensureit alignswith the latest industry trends and technology
1.hands on learning: students have access to state of art labs and are encouraged to work on real life projects.
2.elective courses:curriculum offers a variety of elective courses,allowing students to tailor their learning based on their interests and career goals.
Sports Facilities here are very good. There are 3 badminton court,1 basketball court and 1 volleyball court .Also there is a football ground.
Classroom:The classrooms are air conditioned and also cleaned regularly.
Social Club: The social club KRITASH of IIT JAMMU serves various poor students in nearby villages who could not pursue education on their own.

The students are generally placed in the 7th or 8th semester.
Various companies visit IIT JAMMU for placements like Microsoft, Qualcomm,Intel ,FLIPKART,etc.

Campus is new so it os not so large but it is expanding.

Basements are pretty good, especially for the electrical and computer science branches the average package of computer science is around 25 lakhs per annum as per the latest placement sale and for other branches it is also pretty well you will be provided an internship from third year onwards and many candidates have also been provided with ppos.
Opportunities here are very good because it's a new iit.
Every Faculty here is a Ph.D. which is very impressive

From the 7th semester you are eligible for campus placements, the campus placements here are very good considering it is a new iit. You don't need to worry about your placement being a Cse student. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Have also recruited from here

Campus is small but is under construction.
Ground is ok. But separate ground for cricket is not available

IIT Jammu Placements 2023 is in progress & till now 85% of the batch have already been placed. IIT Jammu highest package stood at INR 53 LPA whereas IIT Jammu average package stood at INR 17.6 LPA for the B. Tech students. 129 recruiters participated in the placement drive.
Infrastructure here is very good among other IIT's.
Faculties here is very supportive. Crowd is less So chances of get opportunity is also very high.

Mess food is Not Much good, Don't expect much
Class test's are very frequent students not able to get much free time for extracurriculars.
Placement Experience:
IIT JAMMU has very good placements stats as compared to all other 3rd gen IITs. The highest package Offered in the year 2021 is 52LPA for BTech and Median Package for CSE is 21LPA. Almost 83% of students get placed. The Overall median package of Btech is 16LPA. In MTech Highest package is 45LPA and the median is 25.5 LPA. The top companies visiting are amazon, Microsoft, sprinklr, indeed, Samsung, and Qualcomm.
We were among the first batch of the college to take part in the college placement drive. The college was able to achieve the 100% placement mark. The college placement committee has played a very important role during the college placement drive. Our details are already registered with the college placement committee and they help just to get places in the company as per our interest. The highest package for our batch was around 40 LPA and the average salary package was approx 15 LPA.
This year first batch completed there study and applied for placement. From 5 semester students are eligible for campus placement.
This year Amazon, flipkart, Oyo rooms etc company visited to college.
At this time no official news about the college placement.
After getting degree I wish to do job.
