Course Curriculum Overview
Minimum Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. good.excellent qualification.
Placement Experience
IIT Jammu Placements 2023 is in progress & till now 85% of the batch have already been placed. IIT Jammu highest package stood at INR 53 LPA whereas IIT Jammu average package stood at INR 17.6 LPA for the B. Tech students. 129 recruiters participated in the placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
B.E. / B.Tech(8 courses) 8 L 10+2: 75%. Exams: JEE MainJEE Advanced, M.E./M.Tech(8 courses) 80 K - 5.5 L, 10+2 : 60 % Graduation : 65 % Exams : GATE M.Sc.(1 course) 80K. Exams: IIT Jam. One can find scholarship easily.
Campus Life
Class test 2 + mid sem + end sem. The library is full of necessary books. The campus has volleyball, basketball, badminton courts, cricket nets and a football ground is under construction. ICICI and J&K Bank have set up their ATMs alongside the hostels near the cafeteria.
Hostel Facilities
The room will have basic furniture (table, chair, bed (Without Mattress), book Rack and Amirah) and an internet connection for each student The mess facilities are clearly good at IIT Jammu as compared to other IITs like like IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Ropar, all the 3G IITs, etc. Nobody likes mess food in hostel life. However at IIT Jammu, some meals and the whole breakfast is really nice.
Admission
Jee Advanced, Online, Registering for the JEE Main examination is the first step for the JEE Main Advanced selection process. The next step of the selection process is that you must score amongst the top 2,50,000 students in JEE Main 2022.
Faculty
All are phd scholars. All are experienced. All are friendly and one can ask any Doubts they are facing. Interaction can be seen more oftenly. You can interact with the professors like your own friends.
