Likes

Our college provides students with scholarships to help financially backward students and also students who are in need of help.
I can say that they are truly effective in their classes and also freely available to help students even at the non college days.
Placement opportunities for students are pretty much good as companies hire a lot more students from this university

Dislikes

I dislike the canteen food over here. They don't taste homely and i have faved stomach aches and loose motions frequently agter eating.
The dean and hod are very arrogant they don't support
The CSE department neglects extra-curricular activities to a point that its ridiculous.

Practical edge across depths

Likes

Brainware excels in infrastructure like well equipped cse labs and vibrant campus in Barasat which is accessible through kolkata.
Faculty expertise varies some are industry pro with great mentor ships while other rely on rote teaching needing more interactive method like flip class
There are many clubs, hackathon are organised seminar are held.

Dislikes

Some faculties are stuck with the outdated teaching methodology without engaging discussion and real world examples.
Labs are decent but sometimes overcrowded and inconsistent ac and low wifi speed
Core syllabus feels rigid with heavy theory over practical development.

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements . TCS, Capgemini, EY , Amazon etc offers varies from 1-2 lpa Highest paid was 12 lpa and average is 1-2lpa According to google 90-98 % students were placed. I am planning to sit for placement and get a job

Brainware, The Affordable College.

Likes

There are a lots of facilities in the classroom as well as in the campus.
They have AC's in maximum of the rooms except some. The college also has Wifi for students.
The are libraries and laboratory rooms for all subjects.

Dislikes

The Wifi system must be inproved as it has a limit of 32 mb for each students.
The faculties are very good and they teach well too but there are some teachers who have the problem of ego in them which needs to be sorted out.
There is a problem in the college regarding the SVMCM Scholarship for the Btech students which is taking a lot of time to settle up.

Placement Experience:

There is a 98% chance for placements in our college. The students become elligible for campus placements from 7 semester. There are a lots of companies that visited our college and the names of few of them are - Adobe, Hoichoi, Microsoft, etc The highest package was got bya girl of 36LPA and the average package is 3-4LPA. The percentage of placements is 98%. Afer getting the degree, i will try for placements and if i dont get a placement then i will go for the higher studies i.e. Mtech.

BRAINWARE, THE AFFORDABLE ONE.

Likes

There many things that i liked. For eg. There are water purifiers in every floors of every building
There is a food court so that students dont have to go out to eat
There are ac's in max room in every floors in every buildings

Dislikes

There are some teachers those have the ego problem.
The SVMCM scholar ship is not completed yet for Btech students.

Placement Experience:

There is 98% placements from the college. The students are eligible for campus placemnets from 7th semester(i.e. in the 4th year). There are many companies that visited the college like Adobe, Hoichoi, etc The highest package that a student got is 36LPA and the average is 8-9 LPA. The percentage of placements is 98%. After getting the degree, I will go for the company named IBM.

My.Review on brainware university

Likes

Experienced and helpful teachers In college
The modern buildings classrooms lapse provide comfortable and proper education
The campus is really big and good for sports and other curriculum

Dislikes

Teachers' don't provide much Attention to the students all the time
The hostel food is OK kind of and not.I'm very much hygienic
We can easily get Mars by textbooks.And we don't have to read other books or resources

Students become eligible for placement in the last and the final fourth year of the btec computer science engineering course My plans on getting a degree is at 4 by scholarship.I want to get a laptop and from there.Start programming And develop my skill as a result.In fourth year I will be able to Get a placement

Likes

The environment here is very good the teacher are very helpful and there is no ragging issues
The teacher are expert teachers in their field
Many course are there in our college including nursing for girls

Dislikes

Fooding system in college .The quality of the food is not so good in reference to the cost
The college has a very small ground for playing .and at any time we can't play
The college does not have its auditorium

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students are eligible for sitting in the placement.many company visited the university like flipkart,amazon ,tcs .Till today's date the highest package got from our college is 24 lakhs .70% students got placed from aur university.my plan is to got placement from the college and then after that apply for foreign companies

Our university story.

Likes

In our university i like the most is our university library.
Second thing our practical lab that very practical.
Third is our faculties and their behavior just like friend.

Dislikes

The most dislike thing is collage timeing .
Second thing is food court the price of food is very expensive
In our university there is no large amount of play ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although i rate our course 8.5 out of 10 because it helps us to grow positively that will benifit us in real world scenario. It is very comprehensive that being effect our live to the preparation of real world application.

Likes

I like that teachers are more interactive with us in our college
Teacher informed us for our placement ralated issue
The overall environment of college is good

Dislikes

Canteen service is very worst quality very bad
Not providing any internship, excursion or industrial visit
Number of students is very large according it's very problematic

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is sometimes effective But the programming language we have learned from college is not enough for placement?l. They give us the basic knowledge which is not totally real world basis

College have a good fees structure it is affordable compare to other colleges
Teachers are really good and they are always available for any doughts
College provides a good number of workshops and seminars

College have a less field visits and practical studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college has data science which makes interesting in this course . Subjects like data analytics, data visualization etc prepare us for real world applications. Teachers should teach us more practically .. the exams are quite easy . They take two class test and one final test during each semester

Likes

The courses are affordable compare to other colleges.
They provide better placement compare to the other near by colleges in Kolkata
The ratio of teachers per student is good . There is atleast one teacher for each subject

Dislikes

They give addmission to every student. There is no filteration here.
Teacher's are not permanent here .. most of the good teacher's leave the University
They not provide that much field visits and hands on practical studies

Placement Experience:

From 6thsemester students become eligible for placement. Companies like Adobe , Wipro , TCS companies visit here and they provide a good numbers of offers. Company provides average of 3lakh placement and highest it is 18lakh. All over 90% students get the placement. After getting the degree I will seat for clg placements .
