IIM Sirmaur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

All the students are placed on the campus itself. Companies start visiting from the fourth term onwards i.e. at the start of the second year. More than fifty companies visited last year for a batch of 50 students and the highest package was 34 Lakhs. Companies come for several roles like HR, marketing, sales, finance, general management, and operation. Companies from various sectors came including Tourism. Club Mahindra, Satguru Travels, Pick Your Trail, Travclan, etc. came from the tourism sector. Other major companies include Lenden Club, Belgium Waffle, BigBasket, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Virtusa, Decathlon, etc. The highest package was 34 Lakhs an average of 11.82 LPA. IIM Sirmaur had 100% placements last year.

From the 4th semester, i.e., the beginning of the 2nd year, the placement process starts.IIM Sirmaur provides the best placement opportunity for every student with 100% placement. Some companies that visited the placement season were DS group, EY, DE Shaw, Tiger Analytics, LtentView, Deloitte, Cognizant, virtusa, and Tech Mahindra. The highest package was 64.12 lakhs (international), and the Highest domestic package was 29 lakhs, with an average placement of 15 lakhs. I will try to get the best opportunity through campus placement and look forward to my career path.

Students are eligible for Summer Internships as soon as they begin their first year and are eligible for final placements as soon as they enter their second year. The placements are okiesh, but not satisfactory. the director should not allow an employer whose budget is less than 14lakhs. This way we can maintain our standard. As it is IIM so definitely there will be 100% placement

Course pedagogy revolves around providing students with a comprehensive understanding of management-centric roles through the foundation, domain-based courses etc to prepare them for the corporate world. The faculty members are quite helpful and knowledgeable.

Placements are decent at IIM Sirmaur. The average package of the 2020-22 batch was somewhere around 13.75 lakh which is expected to increase by around a lakh for the 2021-23 batch. Students become eligible to sit for campus placements after the completion of the first year i.e. after term 3.

The final placements begin in the fourth semester. Last year 140 companies visited the campus and made almost 200 offers. The average package was around 13 Lakh, while the highest package was 26 Lakh. 100% of the students that participated in college placement got placed.
