Likes
- Some very good industrial relations were established this year, which could mean significant growth in the mean and median numbers as well as better and larger organizations coming for the campus placements.
- The scholarship is available for all the students and every year average placement package gets increased by good value.
- Everything related to admissions are awesome, now we have dedicated team to help the shortlisted students to appear for interview o jn cap process.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not that good and the boy's hostel is outside campus and is around 6 kms from the campus which causes a huge inconvenience.
- The taste of mess food provided here in our institute is not so good over here in the mess of our institute.
- Most baby iims don't have a strong industrial relationship and counselling board and an experienced placement council, thereby it's the same problem for each of them.

Placement Experience:
Placement season starts from the start of the academic year. College provides 100% placements. Average CTC is around 15 lpa. Lowest being 10lpa and highest being 38lpa. Placement committee plays an important role in this and the process is 100% transparent.

- Location was great near to Dehradun and transportation was easy for us
- In campus I have made very good connections, great learning was there, and exposure
- There was 1:1 interaction with the teachers about anything and seniors were very helpful
Dislikes
- Infrastructure , we were in temporary campus
- Connectivity was missing because hostels were far from the campus
- campus size was very small, and was nearer to the Yamuna river
Placement Experience:
For the Summer internship we can apply in second semester and for the final placements I can apply in fourth term or starting of the second year, around 200 + companies visted and made around 350 + offers

- Easy access to administrative staff and faculty in general

- Infrastructure currently under development
- No nearby market and very few travel options available
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course outline are really good and they prepare you for relevant industry skills and knowledge. It is designed specifically to provide edge to the students in early season of summer internship and placement. Exams are not difficult and generally requires to apply theoretical knowledge into real world problems

- I liked the different experienced faculty we had.
- The new campus is amazing woth a lot of facilities.
- Diveristy of students is good leading to more experiences
Dislikes
- Food is not good in mess and not many options to order
- It is secluded and far from any major city.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very nicely curated and most focus is on academics. We also have a good collection of books in our library. The curriculum has a lot of great case studies that are tought around the world.

- The culture was very amicable, all my batchmates very friendly and helpful.
- Professors were very laidback and down to earth, and very easily approachable.
- The campus was located in foothills of Himalays, so people who love nature it's an added advantage.
Dislikes
- Weather- For people not used to Himalayan winters.
- All the communities are student run, so they don't regulated as often and there is politics.
- Bit remote for people who are used to urban life.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good generally, over 95% of students get placed usually, but since this year the placements were down and placement was bad in every institute all over the India, But nevertheless our placement coordinator and pcom team did the best in placing everyone.

- The faculty at Indian institute of management is really good
- The institute has now have a permanent campus, which is huge
- The campus is situated in the mountains of Himalayas which is very picturesque.
Dislikes
- At my time, there was no permanent campus. Although they have it now.
- The city is not well developed, so you might have to travel a bit to get things.
- The real himalaya mountains are close to 70km if you want to enjoy snow.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is designed by central government and is followed by all the IIMs throughout. The course can be improved by making more practical simulations which can be easy for students to learn.

- The faculty is quite knowledgeable and learned. Practical aspects of subjects are taught.
- The infrastructure of the Institute is very good. Campus has all the necessary amenities required like library, smart classrooms, hostels, mess etc.
- The placement committe is very supportive and cooperative. The placement process is smooth.
Placement Experience:
The placements are offered to 2nd year student from the month of august. 100% placements is offered by the institute in various big and known companies. The average package stood at 15 lpa. The companies offered the roles in the field of finance, marketing, operations, analytics etc.

- The institute has various clubs and committees which students can join. The clubs and committees are responsible for organizing various events and manage the institute
- The culture of IIM Sirmaur is very good. Everyone is helpful and supportive

- The permanent campus of IIM Sirmaur is getting delayed

The campus placements is fairly good and is improving each year. The average package for 2022-24 batch is 1445000. The institute strives for placing all of its students. Many reputed companies come to campus and the institute is trying to expand its industrial collaboration

The students become eligible for final placements in the begining of 2nd year of MBA.
More than 100 companies from India as well as Abroad visit the campus for final placements
The average package went 14.5 lacs last year and the highest package offered was 64 lacs(CTC)

- The faculty of IIM Sirmaur is really up to the mark and provide great knowledge regarding the course.
- The learning which you get from the peers adds more to one's knowledge and experience.
- The greenery around the campus is mesmerizing.
Dislikes
- The college is very far away from major cities which makes it difficult for one to commute.
- Being in small town on Paonta Sahib, City do not offers much of an experience.
- Permanent campus is taking way much time to get operational.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is same for the first-year students. later on, the curriculum differs from domain to domain depending on the domain a student chooses. The curriculum includes various real-life case studies which helps in getting a gist of real-life scenarios. Exams are conducted twice a semester and are based on the learnings you gather from the classes
