Yes, you can take admission in the B.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in IIT Tirupati if you have the required eligibility and rank in the required JEE Advanced.

If you cleared JEE Advanced and had a good rank (within 5000 for general category), IIT Tirupati's CSE course is a good bet. It has great placement records, intense studies, and an improving status in tech hiring.

Yes, IIT Tirupati has a full-time Ph.D. in philosophy in its Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

There are some IITs that allow outsiders to enter the college campus. Some of them include IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi.

You can easily enter IIT Delhi and the guards will give you a visitor's pass. If you are in a vehicle, they will give you a pass card. Similarly, for IIT Kanpur if you are in a vehicle you will need to register for a pass card. However, I am not sure if IIT Tirupati has that kind of facility. I would recommend you to ask the students of IIT Tirupati or passed-out students. You can also call the college helpline to get answers to your query.

• The highest package offered was INR 25 LPA and the lowest package offered was INR 10 LPA.
• The average package was INR 15.4 LPA. In 2023, all the M.tech students who registered from the CSE branch got placed with an average CTC of INR 16 LPA.
• The M.Tech CSE department of IIT Tirupati has a good record of 90 percent placement, with students securing high packages at top companies.

The undergraduate chemistry laboratory was established in January 2016. It is well ventilated and has new and modern state-of-the-art equipment. A total of 10 experiments that address societal issues are performed at the chemistry laboratory. These experiments were designed to make practical sessions interesting for the undergraduate engineering students. The following are some of these experiments:

1. Water quality: Hardness of samples drawn from the neighbourhood
2. Pharmacy: Aspirin (making a medicine)
3. Natural product: Tea leaves (extraction of caffeine from different brands of tea available in the market)
4. Food world: Citrus fruits (acidity of different fruits)
5. Material world: Brass (copper content)

The Department has a well-equipped undergraduate wet laboratory and different research labs. Theoretical chemists of the Department had designed and set up the High-performance Computing (HPC) Clusters at Department of Chemistry. Many high-end experimental research instruments Like UV-VIS NIR spectrometer, FTIR, fluorescence spectrophotometer and mass spectrometer has been purchased and/or installed already. Also, Instruments like 400 MHz NMR, LCMS, CD spectrometer will be available soon.

 The highest package for BTech was INR 46 LPA while that for MTtech was INR 28 LPA.
