Iit TIRUPATI is a very good college and a has very good campus life It has great campus life and great campus facilities and they have great campus facilities.mess food is not very good but you have few options outside.it offer a very good campus life where you can enjoy with your friends.you can have a great experience here

Campus environment during winters is good.

Placement and internship drives are not up to the mark
College community and culture is sometimes toxic

Fees and Financial Aid:

Students have many scholarship opportunities from both the government and institutions. One of them is merit cum means scholarship(MCM), which helps students by giving full refunds of tuition fees to the top 25% of students, which I am currently availing right now. There is also an NSP scholarship similar to MCM. Campus employment opportunities like teaching assistance can be offered to undergrad students some time but mostly will be for students in graduate program

IIT Tirupati : An education Paradise

Likes

IIT Tirupati boasts excellent placement services with a high percentage of students securing jobs in reputed companies.
The placement cell offers excellent support for career advancement, including resume-building workshops, mock interviews

Dislikes

The administrative processes can sometimes be slow and cumbersome, leading to delays and frustrations in getting things done.
Although the campus facilities are generally good, some areas still need improvement.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee is dependent on income certifacte and caste of the student For a general guy he has to pay 1L per semester as tution fee. For a guy with family income within 1L to 5L has to pay 35K, below 1L has to pay 0Rs Coming to hostel fee every person has to pay 40K per semester Students can apply for educational vidya laksmi scheme (income below 9L) with less interest There is a seperate body for placements and internships. Companies come and take students . Avg CSE package is 21L

The campus is very pleasant in between mountains it is a good location for peaceful mind and concentration
All the faculty are well educated who have done there higher studies from IIT

Dislikes

Since it is a new IIT there is still much construction going on
The mess food quality can be further improved

The tuition fee is One lakh above for general categories and 1250 for SC ST and economical weaker sections There has not been any hike The total cost of my education is around 1 lakh for the year There are NSP and institute schlorship available for the students I have been the hostel representative for my hostel

The fee structure is for semester its 41000 now but before it was 37000 due to increase in mess food Scholarship is good actually they are providing good but our cgpa should be above 5 Campus employment is quite ok

I don't like mess food it's quality is not good
We should sweep our own rooms no one will come and help us for sweeping

The great IITTP

I like the rooms in our hostel where it has enough space for a individual
I like the infrastructure of our campus its quite attractive

Dislikes

We didnt provided the buses to go for classes earlier it was there but now they removed
I dont like the curriculum of campus its very fast one sem in 4 months

Fees and Financial Aid:

Hostel and mess affairs fees have increased from 131 per day to 200,the schlorship we get are institute ans nsp,nsp per year is 62000 around and institute per sem is around is 7k if the student belongs to st category then they should cross 5 gpa per sem and it changes from category to category.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college complete fee for B.Tech was around 3 lakh which is very reasonable for an IIT college and the placement of the college is also very good the highest salary packages are around 43 LPA and the average salary packages range from 11-14 LPA which is a very good return on investment. Scholarship on a merit basis is available and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. For more detail, on the college scholarship program, one can visit the college's official website.

Are new IITs (Tirupati and pallakad) good for CSE?

I belong to the first CSE batch of IIT Tirupati. We had it rough because of no senior guidance, and a sense of helplessness. But having said that, CSE is all about self effort and dedication. Whatever college you choose, you’ll feel a bit clueless till about your 3rd semester. But to get through, you need dedication and patience.

Now coming to your answer, IIT Tirupati is a good choice for CSE. You should consider this college if you couldn’t get into CSE at the old IITs. The reasons for this are-

Some of the excellent faculty of IIT Madras still take a few core courses at IIT Tirupati.
The CSE lab is well-equipped and Air Conditioned.
The college library remains open till 9 pm.
The hostels are quite nice.

Regardless of the IIT, it is your own efforts and the guidance of your mentors that will lead you towards success in any field.

Whenever you are confused between two branches in two different institutes, always prioritize the branch and your inclination towards the same. Institutes do matter but not more than the branch. Both branches are diverse and have different applications. Comparing them would do you no good so it’s best to find out about your interests.

The institute, however, does play a certain role in shaping your career. Aspects like infrastructure, faculty, location, and placements scenario should always be considered. That being said, IITs have the best brand value and enjoy high credibility in the foreign market too. Moreover, their academic environment is multifaceted, helping you grow as a person. The top-notch faculty is another reason to prefer IITs over other institutes.

As far as placements are concerned, they are directly proportional to your hard work, talents, and skills. However, some big companies give preference to IIT and NIT students more than other colleges. So, unless you have an interest in CSE, it’s better to choose IIT Tirupati.
