- Since it is a new IIT there is still much construction going on
- The mess food quality can be further improved
- The practical labs could be more rather than theory
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to the fast growing Technology I have chosen this field of Computer Science The curriculum is very well designed for the real world teaching core concepts like OS Compiler Design DSA and many more Also it is very helpful for further studies like GATE The exam is usually from 1 to 3 hours and is of moderate difficultly
Internships Opportunities
There are companies like Tesla have offered internships to female students for non core based branches professors encourage us to work on the new technologies that have scope in the real world and help us in conducting projects on the same
Placement Experience
Students are offered pre placements from the sixth semester itself There are many companies visiting like Google Wipro Infosys who offer very good packages Almost all the students get placed my plans after completing degree would be to grow in the software industry
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is One lakh above for general categories and 1250 for SC ST and economical weaker sections There has not been any hike The total cost of my education is around 1 lakh for the year There are NSP and institute schlorship available for the students I have been the hostel representative for my hostel
Campus Life
There is a techno cultural fest named Tirutsava which is conducted every year which is held usually around March It is a three day long fest which gets many sponsorships also students from many other universities come and participate and enjoy the events Also for sports and extracurricular activities our college gets good position in inter IIT competitions
Hostel Facilities
We have two sharing and three sharing rooms in our hostel few other newly constructed hostels also have single rooms all the students a provided with a separate study table fan light almirah The quality of the mess food is moderate the menu includes dishes of both north and south college itself provides us hostel rooms
Admission
I have taken JEE Mains and also Advance Only the top 150000 students were selected for Advance and out of which only 15000 are provided seats in IIT All the process for application can be done on the official portal of JOSAA There is reservation for SC ST PWD and also female students The duration is of 3 hours
