Admission to this college is based strictly on an entrance exam focused on Mathematics and Statistics at the graduation level. Candidates must achieve a passing score to qualify, with final admission depending on rank and counseling. The total cost to complete the course is approximately 2 lakhs, which includes hostel and food; without these, it costs around 1 lakh. The first-year fee is 17,450. Scholarships are available for top students, considering their family's financial status.

Placement activities take place in the penultimate semester for students who meet the CGPA criteria. Annually, about 20 companies, such as Amazon, TCS, and Infosys, recruit from the campus, but there is a cap on the number of students hired. Amazon offers the highest salary packages, between 25 to 28 lakhs per annum, with around 50% of students securing jobs each year. Internships are promoted, especially for B.Tech and M.Tech students, with companies like Toshiba and LnT providing opportunities.

The course requires a project and two seminars for completion, with assessment based on performance. If on-campus positions are unavailable, internships with stipends from external sources are an alternative.
