- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Very beautiful campus with lots of good staffs .
- The atmospheric of the campus is ver nice
- Lovated on the heart of the city which is very near to railway station and bus stand
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the staffs imparts knowledge practically which improves our working skill. The theory that we study from the books will be taught and explained practically by them to get a keen knowledge about the subject.

- Adi Shankara college only allows vegetarian food inside the campus.

Placement Experience:
Student placement recruitment are provided form S6 semester. But all departments do not get this opportunities. Most of the students with this are the computer science students . Civil and Mechanical students don't get these opportunities always.

- Faculties are good and very friendly,the treat students like theis own children
- Good infrastructure and easly acesseible because the college situated near to highway
- Good canteen facilities and good food at affordable rate and very neat campus.
Dislikes
- Management is not supportive and always put constraints to program
- Lack of college ground for sports and games
Placement Experience:
From 7 th semester the college provide campus recuitments for students but the placement cell in college is very poor only less than 20% of students are get placed through campus placements.
The average salary is about 2.5 LPA

- Maintainance of college, disgusting roads
- Lack of adequate shops nearby and facilities
- Mens hostel during rainy season lack of cleaniness
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since I was interested in technical areas so I chose this college after getting good rank in KEAM EXAMINATION. Here the teaching methods are well and good for each and everyone so that everyone can cope with it.

- The college has a peaceful campus and is located in the main city itself, so there are no problems if any requirements do arise.
- Most of the faculties here have done their PhDs and have a vast area of knowledge, getting to know about new things is easy.
- The classrooms were well adapted with projectors and required number of tables and seats for smooth conduction of classes.
Dislikes
- The college campus is little bit smaller as compared to other campuses.
- As most of the faculties have done their PhDs, the rest lack in knowledge and teaching method is not upto mark.
- Sports amenities were not there and the ground is not as expected.

Placement Experience:
Students from S7 onwards become eligible for campus placement. Before that itself the college placement cell provides training to every student in order to crack the interview. The average package last year was 5LPA and highest was 10LPA. Placements are mostly for CS students so EC and EEE students suffer the most due to their less placement. First AI batch is just going to passout next year so placement about that can be told after that only. Almost 70% students got placed last year according to reports. My plan after getting the degree is to get a small placement and complete my higher studies side by side.

- The functioning of the college especially in my dept. is very disciplined and structured.
- The college has excellent clubs like Mit Motorsports club,which won the national go-kart championship last year along with other clubs like IEEE ,SAE,Rotaract
- Funding support from the college for good projects is exceptional. For go-kart the college took all the cost and supported us with 5 lakh total
Dislikes
- Major events - Varnam(Cultural Fest) and Shreshta(Tech fest) no other events.If other events organised it's a luck.
- The scholarship can get cancelled if you fails in exams or get incremented and decremented. It solely depends on your sgpa.
Placement Experience:
The placements offered are excellent. You get placement offers higher here compared to other private colleges like Rajagiri and TocH. Currently even though it is recession, we got many core offers, like L&T Ashok, Leyland, Vguard, RDC cement, Synopsys, Cadence etc for non-IT departments. The average package is 4.5 Lpa. Last year the highest package was 15Lpa(Cadence), and 13 Lpa( Synopsys) both from the Electrical Department. For CS you can get many offers.

- The college is near to town and so the travel facility are good
- The college provides 5 different engineering displines.
- The faculty availability is rich and good

- The campus area is little bit small and looks like congested.
- No proper ground facility for the college itself.
Placement Experience:
From the very 6th semester the students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visiting the college including TCS, Welspun, Cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, Intellipaat, Mitsogo, Schneider, QBurst etc.. The companies provide a good package for the students. Most of the students are getting placements.

Placement Experience:
The placement activities are usually initiated from fifth semester of the course. We are also given special training for attending different interviews. The package level was from 300000 to 1100000.College always aims for 100% placements.

- The college has a great crowd, lots of good people and has a lot of extra curricular activities
- The faculty are very helpful and strive to make children learn rather than remember things
- Placements are good for CS but for other subjects core jobs are less
Dislikes
- Too much politics sometimes disrupts classes and we miss a few modules from syllabus
- Small campus, no playgrounds other than a basketball ground
- There is no official hostel for the college ,you have to opt outside
Placement Experience:
Placements are alright, not many companies are there for core subjects but for CS there are a lot of companies. Highest package is of 13lpa and AVG is 3.5. i plan to go to Germany to study for my masters after completing my course.

- Natural Beauty: The college is located in a region famous for its natural beauty, including forests, mountains, and rivers. Providing a good atmosphere for studying.
- Faculties:They are vey supportive and encouraging.
- College activities:Arts and Tech fest days are the best days.
Dislikes
- Placements: Comparatively placement opportunities are less. Why because the college is on the top of a hill.
- Hostel:There is two hostels for girls. Bt there is no any good boys hostel.
- Wifi range : Wifi range is poor at some locations of the college.

The placements are average. There is orientation classes on Placement drives. You need to pass the course without any backlogs. Then only u can attend the placement drives. However, there is some companies that are giving placements for students having 1-2 backlogs. The average package is from 3- 4.75 lpa. This year only 10 students out of 62 are placed from CS department.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
