- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Great job opportunities as placements happens every year
- Less stress and have enough time for everything

- Due to covid classes have been taken very fast

- There is no revaluation for external lab exams

Placements happen during pur final years of college. They provide placement training to all their students. So there is high chance of you getting placed if you have passed all subjects. They provide all necessay trainings dor interviews

Government engineering college thrissur is having lots of placement packages. The average salary package is 400000 per annum. Google, Tata, reliance, vipro, kinfra, cipla, federal bank etc come here for placements

- Gec palakkad has good infrastructure and lab facilities, basic needs like toilets drinking water facilities, canteen etc are good
- Good syllabus covering the topic thouroughly
- Faculties are well qualified and very helping

- Placements oppurtunities are very poor compared to other colleges
- College is very distant from nearby town
- Hostels are not very big there is only limited seats
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was a electrical and electronics student. Our curriculum had lots of scope for improvement. Even though it covers majority of topics I feel like lots of updates are needed. Curriculum is revised every 4 years. But new technologies are excluded even in new curricculum.End semester Exams are conducted every 5 months

- Teaching skills of our faculties are very good .They uses several presentations for teaching students
- The ambience of the campus is really good,calm and quiet surroundings helps in better concentration
- Facilities in the campus is awesome. Libraries,canteens,washrooms,prayer rooms are really helpful
Dislikes
- Transporation facilities are not that good
- Class duration are bit short ,semesters are to be bit longer
- Exam schedules are not good ,proper study leaves can be offered
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students became eligible for campus placements.students with minimum backlog papers are eligble for the placements.core companies from civil,mechanical& electical companies are visiting for the placements

- Very good teaching and non teaching faculties.
- Eco friendly campus with a great atmosphere
- Helpful seniors who provides regular support in every activities
Placement Experience:
There is good placement in our college.Oracle,Air India,mrf,mahindra and all.Highest package of last year is about 30-40 lpa and average package is about 4-6lpa.Some students are opting higher studies through gate exam also

- Our college provides best education and good oppertunity for the students
- Best infrastructure and facilities with good amenities
- Good notes and lectures provided bybthe faculties
Dislikes
- No air conditioning while the temperature rises
- Facilities for sports and activities are low
- Don't have much access to library and office for mechanical department students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Teaching methods can be improved more by teaching through digital platforms and usage of Google classrooms are less in our college. Frequency and timings of exams are flexible and we get proper gaps in between to prepare well

from 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement
the companies like TCS,Qspider,techmaghi etc give a good packages like 2 lakh per year
7.5 above CGPA students can attend the placement drive
Im going to get a good job in MNC.

- Management is ok. Not so good and not so bad
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm interested in electronics based field, so i have choosen this. I'm also interested in doing practicals for it. Such as soldering etc.
Talking about the areas of improvement, give more importance to practcials especially on soldering

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
